Description
I have 4 lovely villas in the middle of Maremmas nature in Tuscany. The houses are situated on a hill with a beautiful view on the surrounding mountains and forest greenery. I used to successfully run this property as a short term rental business, but this year I would like to take a break from hosting and thus I'm looking for a house sitter, ideally a couple that can also do some maintenance tasks.

Nestled in the heart of Maremma, Tuscany, my property boasts a prime hilltop location surrounded by enchanting forests, offering absolute tranquility and peace. It's a serene haven, yet conveniently close to vibrant tourist destinations: just an hour's drive from the historic city of Siena, 40 minutes from the sparkling Mediterranean Sea, and surrounded by a plethora of picturesque Tuscan Etruscan villages, making it a perfect blend of secluded charm and accessibility to rich cultural experiences.
In the surrounding area, English is not necessarily always spoken if travellers want a fuller immersion into the Italian language.

I'm seeking a resourceful person, ideally a couple, for a long-term house sitting opportunity in picturesque Tuscany: Enjoy living in a stunning 4-house property while tending to our beautiful, extensive greenery.
Your role will encompass various landscaping tasks, such as trimming the grass, pruning bushes, and general upkeep of the garden as well as light maintenance tasks, such as painting and minor repairs, ensuring my beautiful Tuscan property remains in pristine condition.
Please note: I can't assist with workawayers seeking Italian citizenship/residence

You will have an entire Tuscan style house for you, it has 2 bedrooms and is perfectly suited for 1 or 2 people. This delightful residence has a private ensuite bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen, ensuring all the conveniences of home. Step outside onto your private terrace and be mesmerized by the breathtaking views of the rolling Tuscan hills. Here, tranquility and beauty merge, offering an idyllic escape.
We are very mindful about water consumption and expect the same from our workawayers.
We don't provide food, but 3h/day work, 5 days/week is fine for us.

Effective communication is key in this role, requiring proactive exchanges, including detailed updates and photo sharing to ensure smooth task completion and transition between guests.
Currently, the role is predominantly independent, though I may visit briefly.
This position does NOT involve pet care.
I will maintain regular contact for task supervision, and local contacts are available for additional support if needed.
The ideal house sitters should be self-reliant, mature, and responsible, with a keen ability to identify and communicate any necessary repairs promptly.
This opportunity is perfect for a couple seeking an autonomous lifestyle with flexible hours, allowing time for personal online work or projects.
Due to the property's remote location, having your own vehicle is essential for transportation and access.

I have internet provided by Starlink. I often rely on good internet myself as I also work online. You'll have unlimited internet access through WiFi. But it might be worth noting that the mobile network, on the other hand, is not very reliable on the property itself.
