    Hello!

We are Sofia & Žiga and we have two cats Lola (1y) and Lu (3months). We offer our apartment in return for taking care of them.

We live in Valencia, Spain. We love our house, we take great care of it, we keep it clean and organized - which is exactly what we expect from anyone coming here :)

Our house is close to Mercadona, Gym & Pool, Park Turia, Zoo and 2 metro stops away from the city centre.

You will love our house because it is comfy, has good AC, is in great shape & is clean. (we also have a projector for movies)

We are looking someone who will take as good of a care of our house & animals as we do.

You are the right fit if you are:
    - organized
    - value cleanliness & comfort
    - loves cats
    - non-smoker
    - non-party (sorry to all the party lovers, but you will understand why as you read on)
    - consistent (with taking care of the pets & house)
    - want to live 2 weeks with two cute cats & have a great flat for yourself!

We need you to take care of our cats.

About our pats (they are both babies and rescued kittens):

Lola is a 1 year old white cat, she does not like petting, she loves to catch the string and sleep. She is EXTREMELY food motivated and will jump on the table, kitchen counter and your shoulder (when you are eating) for a chance to get a bite. Be VERY cautious with her and food, she is very persistent and will steal your food. ANY FOOD (including avocado, tomatoes, chocolate, brownies, bread, butter...)

She WILL even eat medicine, so please if you have any pills make sure to keep them away from reach for her as human medicine can kill a cat. Same goes especially for dark chocolate, brownies and foods that contain chocolate.

Some rules with Lola (we have to be strict here):
    1. Absolutely no food out on the counters, table... She WILL eat it even if it's bad for her.
    2. After cooking, you should prioritize cleaning the dishes otherwise she will go and try to lick them.

(she is the reason party-goers should not apply - it makes you more likely to leave food (takeouts or snacks) out after coming back home or bf leaving the house. And its very dangerous for her and we want to minimize the risk of her getting food poisioning.

Now the less problematic one... Lu.

Lu is 3 months old. She is also very food motivated and will let you know when she is hungry (almost always). Thankfully she is small enough to not be able to jump on the counters yet. Otherwise cuddly, playful and super nice.

They are both very sweet, but there is a possibility that they will bother you in the morning, because they will want breakfast - in that case just close the bedroom door :)

We do not let them have any human food, because we are training them to not be interested in that and the best way to do that is consistency.

Their feeding schedules is 3 times per day (since Lu is still a growing baby).

    Lola:
    1. Breakfast - half a can of wet food
    2. Lunch - Half a can of wet food
    3. Dinner - half a can of wet food

You can add a sprinkle of dry food, but not too much, cuz her teeth are inflamed.

    Lu:
    1. Breakfast - half a can of wet food + dry food (1 tablespoon)
    2. Lunch - Half a can of wet food + dry food (1 tablespoon)
    3. Dinner - half a can of wet food + dry food (1 tablespoon)

Yep, she eats more than Lola. And yes we will make sure to have food supplies for the entire time of your stay.

Treats - Lola can have them (Cat jogurt and catisfactions), Lu cant, cuz she will get diarrea.

    Litter boxes:
Clean at least once per day (both of them), you can flush poop and pee down the toilet bc we have tofu litter, which dissolves in water :)

That's it. If you do all of the above, they will like you and we are sure you will like them back.

    Some building rules:
    1. Nothing should be left outside the apartment (in the building) - like trash, scooters, bikes or stuff like that as other community members will report us to the building manager.
    2. After 22.00 night time sound levels should be respected.
    3. We keep AC on 24/7 so our cats remain cool, however we avoid putting it too low for cost-effective reasons. We suggest you leave it on 24 degrees celcius as it is now, if you find it to cold or hot of course feel free to adjust to personal preference.
