Description
Hands and hearts needed!!!
Hello everyone! We are Marcello and Flor, a couple living a sustainable life in Chia, a small medieval village in central Italy (60 km north of Rome). We have a little farm with goats, donkeys, bees and hens, a few vegetable gardens and different kinds of fruit trees, olives, and hazelnut, all in about 30’ walking in woods around the village. Sometimes you have to walk back home.
A bit of us: Marcello is from Venice province, he’s being living here since 2007 working in the farm project, he’s also a philosophy and history teacher.
Flor is from Argentina, she was traveling around the world since 2012, doing volunteer work mostly in farms to learn about self sustenance and looking for her place.
We are happy to host people who are really interested in natural agriculture and self sustaining, to learn and share their experiences!Types d'aide et opportunités d'apprendre

We can share our way of working and living with respect for the environment.
Being surrounded by a magical forest, you’ll be able to enjoy the nature.
Chia is a beautiful town full of social life and events, there’s a theatre and a bar.
We can help with language if you want to learn Italian or Spanish.
We are also happy of learning from your sharing experiences and knowledge!Aide
There’s a lot of projects going on here!! We can ask for help with the animals (minimum stay for interaction with goats is a month) trees and gardens. Depending on season.
From end of October until half November we do olives picking and we need a lot of help.
On the other hand we’ll ask for respect to our place and routine, help with daily life (cooking, washing dishes) communication, independence, initiative and good energy to share with us and our friends.Langues parlées

We have different options for hosting: there’s a room at home that usually you have to share if there’s other volunteers.
Sharing toilet and shower with hot water.
The most of our food is self produced, so we can’t guarantee special diets. We eat meat and animal's products.
We don’t have internet access at home, there’s a bar where you can find Wi-Fi.
We can’t host people with dogs or little kids.Autres infos...
There’s also the opportunity to stay for long term!
