    🏠 About Us
Hello! We’re Mary & Hide, a family living in Osaka with our 3-year-old son and several friends.
We recently bought a new house to expand our community, and now we’re looking for calm, reliable helpers who can support us as we prepare this new home.
This is a great opportunity for those who enjoy quiet, steady tasks and would like to experience real Japanese family life.

💪 What We Need Help With
Our new three-story house still has many belongings left behind by the previous residents.
We’re looking for someone who can help with tasks such as:

    Cleaning and organizing rooms 🧹
Sorting and disposing of unnecessary items 🗑️
Carrying and setting up large furniture or appliances 🚛
Helping transport new household goods 🏋️
Spending time and playing with our 3- and 4-year-old children 👶

If you enjoy cleaning, organizing, and interacting with children, this project will be a good fit for you.

    🏗️ About the Tasks
The building has three floors and no elevator, so some stair climbing and light lifting are involved.
Help hours are flexible (around 4–5 hours per day) depending on the situation and your pace.
We’ll adjust together to make sure you have a balanced stay and time to enjoy Osaka as well.

    🧳 Who We’re Looking For
    We welcome:
People who enjoy cleaning and organizing
Those with good physical strength and stamina
People who like being around children
    Calm, responsible, and considerate helpers
    Couples or friends traveling together

    🏡 What We Offer
Accommodation in our current community house (private or shared room depending on availability)
Access to kitchen, Wi-Fi, laundry, and shared spaces
    A quiet, multicultural home atmosphere
The chance to experience authentic daily life in Osaka, not just sightseeing

    💬 A Message from Us
This project is not only about cleaning — it’s the beginning of creating a new space where people and cultures connect.
Your help will directly shape a warm, welcoming home where families, friends, and travelers can meet in the future.
Let’s make something meaningful together 🌿
    .
    【Our family】
The current residents are 4 adults and 2 child.

    ①Mary
29 years old. I started this share house because I did not want to raise a child alone and wanted to raise children with a variety of people.
I basically work in my house. I have a calligraphy qualification. If you wish, I can write your name in kanji or write it together with you.
I'm not good at cooking and English! I cried when my luggage was stolen while traveling.
I have ever been 48 countries.
India, Nepal, Bangladesh, Taiwan, South Korea, Mongolia, China, Macau, Hong Kong, Thailand, Malaysia, Indonesia, Singapore, Philippines, Micronesia, Fiji, Tuvalu, Australia, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Tonga, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Italy, Spain, Germany, Poland, France, Russia, Albania, Vatican, Turkey, Israel, Palestine, Jordan, Qatar, Egypt, Kenya, Tunisia, Morocco, Hawaii, Guam, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Easter Island!

    ②Hide
    My husband. 34 years old.
He work for a manufacturer. He goes to work at 8:00 a.m. and back home around 17:30 on weekdays. He like cooking. He doesn't talk much, but he's not angry. He's shy.

    ③Sui
Our son, born in June 2022. He already traveled to 16 countries. He doesn't remember any of them. LOL! He was healthy until the age of two, but spent most of 2024 in the hospital. He is now at home but he is medical care and severely disabled child. However, he is gradually recovering through rehabilitation!
Near him are important medical equipment such as a ventilator circuit, which is important to sustain life, a tube for nutrition, and a monitor for oxygen. Be carefull to avoid stepping on or tripping over them. Also, his immune system is weak, so please help him by washing your hands and gargling hard!

    ④Kuro
31 years old. She is writing a novel in Japan. The content explores the reality of the conflicts and worries of youth. You can buy her novel at Japanese bookstores. Please read it for practicing your Japanese.
She and me and my husband are Buddhist. We pray morning and night.

    ⑤Japanese female
    ⑥Japanese kids (preschool child)

In addition, occasionally 1~4 guests come to stay.

    【Preschool】
Want to go sightseeing with adults only?
We have a partnership with an English preschool that offers temporary care for ages 1-6.
My son used to attend there on weekdays.
Please contact us in advance as we need to check availability.

✳️ New version — aligned with current project

There are 3 main types of help we’re looking for:
    ① Cleaning and organizing
② Setting up the new house
③ Spending time with our children

    ① Cleaning and organizing
Our new three-story house still has many items left by the previous owners. We’re looking for someone who enjoys tidying up, sorting things, and creating order. Tasks include cleaning rooms, wiping surfaces, organizing storage areas, and helping dispose of unnecessary items.

② Setting up the new house
We are preparing this place to become a warm, open community space for families, friends, and travellers. Your help might include carrying and assembling furniture, setting up household goods, or arranging rooms. It’s light physical tasks, but we’ll do it together — step by step.

    ③ Spending time with children
We have a 3-year-old and a 4-year-old who love playing and talking with new people. When possible, we’d love for you to join their playtime or help create a friendly atmosphere around them. No special childcare skills are needed — just kindness and patience.

This project is about more than cleaning — it’s about creating a welcoming home that will bring people together.
If you enjoy calm teamwork and want to experience family life in Osaka, we’d love to host you.
