We stayed with Annika, Tim, and Kiara right after arriving in New Zealand and felt at home immediately. They welcomed us warmly, showed us around, and ensured everything went smoothly.
There are always a lot of projects happening, and we could choose what we wanted to do. Whether you’re curious or have ideas to bring, they’re always open and

After getting things done, there was plenty of time to explore some amazing beaches and nature. Annika showed us how to catch waves on a boogieboard, took us to great snorkeling spots, and made every outing fun and memorable. We also greatly enjoyed spending time with lovely and bubbly Kiara, playing hide and seek, and reading books together!
If you’re looking to share great moments and are eager to work on exciting projects, we highly recommend staying with Annika, Tim, and Kiara!

Maggie and Max stayed with us for two weeks shortly after arriving in New Zealand. They helped with gardening and general household tasks (and cooked some amazing meals!!), played with our 2-year old and build a timber fence around the section. They are a really friendly couple, outdoor lovers and great photographers. We truly enjoyed hanging out

We had a great time with Annika, Tim and Kiara😊 We stayed for about two weeks and the work was a good balance between some challening tasks, where we could learn something new (like building a fence) and easy tasks like weeding and mowing the lawn. We also cooked dinner sometimes or helped with cooking and general household tasks. Tim and Annika

With little Kiki, there is always something happening in the house, which we also really enjoyed. In general, we felt really welcome and appreciated and would definitely love to come here again.Feedback

Lisa stayed with us for almost three weeks and we absolutely loved it. She is very considerate, mature and independent and despite being a very skillfull gardener she cooked as the most amazing meals every night. During her stay she built up a great relationship with our two-year old who is still asking about her a week later. Always welcome back!

I had an absolutely incredible time at Annika’s, Tim’s and Kiara’s place. They welcomed me with open arms on the day I arrived and made me feel like a part of the family right after. I got included in all the activities they did as a family which I appreciated a lot. I ended up staying for almost three weeks and I absolutely loved it. Warkworth is
… read more a nice town with lots of beautiful beaches nearby and there are many things to do and see, bus connections are very good as well. My tasks were mainly outside in the garden from Mon-Fri. I could choose from a few things that needed to be done. At the end of my stay the outdoor furniture and the entrance door was sanded and repainted and the garden in a great condition. On the weekends we would usually go out sailing. Very patiently they explained everything to me and I had so much fun on the water. I won’t forget it! In the afternoons after work they took me to the beach most of the time or showed me to some other nice places around. They are very spontaneous and have a busy social life with lots of friends living nearby. It was not unusual that friends were coming by for some BBQ in the evening, I always loved the food! If you wanna be on your own all the time then this is not the right place for you. Getting involved in the daily family life is very much appreciated. Helping in the kitchen, with Kiki or other duties was naturally for me and did not feel like work. I got a really good insight of what it is like to live and settle down in NZ. I can not write in words how grateful I am that they were able to give me a home away from home for some time. I’m leaving as a good friend not only as a workawayer. Thanks again for everything you did, I wish you all the best and hope to see you in the future!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.
