Description
Help with nature playgroup with children and my 3yo toddler and experience living behind a cemetery with access to it.
Hey and welcome to Malaysia! :) We used to live in Cyberjaya and that’s where all my feedbacks are from but now we live in Kajang, another city that’s close to public transport and nature.
We are a family of 4. My husband, Kanesh, myself, my 16yo son Shubay (who only comes back during school holidays or weekends) and my toddler, Ayra. My mother in law also lives with us. We have 2 dogs as well
I’m currently taking a break after 10 months of volunteering in a jungle and working on new modules and lesson plans for nature education. I have also been nominated for a Ted X talk end of October and need to prepare for that.
So for now, I need help to spend time with Ayra while I’m busy. I still run weekly hike sessions (currently free) with kids and would need help with that too, In November, I will start organizing nature education playgroups again (usually Saturday or Sunday) and will need help with that.
Here is my insta link to check out the kind of activities i organize;- ask me for the link
What we can offer ;
1. Bicycle
2. Weekly hike sessions
3. Access to Chinese cemetery - before 6am or after 6pm
Other matters :
5-6 hours of help
Food ; We don’t provide food but we do offer an outdoor kitchen where you can cook. There are many shops walking distance for you to purchase grocery items and you can follow us when we go too. If we cook extra, we will share a meal with you - case to case basis. I’m not really a good cook and cooking in a big quantity is not really my forte 😅
Accomodation ; You will have one room in the house for yourself. Comes with a cupboard for you to store things. 1 fan, and a single bed. We can add another 1 to 2 mattresses on the floor if required. -

Aide
1. Help with Ayra
-Reading books with her
-Prompt her to clean up after her toys (usually end of the day or before nap)
- Play games for sensory input
- Bring her for cycling or walks
We highly encourage independently play and she can sometimes go 1-3 hours of doing this. So during this time, you can do other things.
2. Help with hiking sessions
Talk to children, show plants or other nature stuffs.
Be the sweeper at the end (make sure nobody gets left behind).
3. Help with playgroups (November onwards)
To prepare materials
To talk to children when conducting playgroup
Or take care of Ayra so that she is not disruptive during playgroup. -

Hébergement
One bedroom with wardrobe in a semi detached house.
We have a small garden at the back with a well and access to a Chinese cemetery
Lots of water birds
Kitchen equipment provided (you need to get your own materials, rice is provided).
We have a TV but Ayra is only allowed to watch Tv as a reward for about 40 minutes during lunch time. So if you need to watch TV, pls do it when Ayra is asleep (during nap or after her bedtime) -
