Description
Hoş geldiniz! Welcome to our 20-decare family olive orchard located in the peaceful village of Karapınar, Mumcular, nestled in the beautiful Muğla province.
Our land is much more than an olive grove; it is a living, breathing art space and a family-run sanctuary for "Doğal Tarım" (Natural Farming). We are deeply inspired by the Fukuoka method, focusing on working in harmony with nature rather than against it.
Creativity is woven into our daily lives. Our family loves to create, and you will constantly find found object art, sculptures, and music around the property crafted by various visiting artists and ourselves. Whether we are sharing warm meals, making music, or working the land together, we value community, artistic expression, and a deep, Anatolian respect for the earth.

Echange culturel et opportunités d'apprendre
By staying with us, you will experience the genuine warmth of an Anatolian gathering place. You will learn the hands-on philosophy of Natural Farming (Fukuoka style) and understand how to manage an olive grove without disturbing the ecosystem.
Beyond agriculture, this is a cultural and artistic exchange. You will have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the creative process, perhaps trying your hand at sculpting and other forms of art. Between the music played, the meals shared, and the collective spirit (imece) of our work, you will leave with a deep connection to village life and the artisan culture of the Aegean region.

Aide
We are looking for hands-on, enthusiastic helpers who don't mind getting a little dirt on their hands. Our projects vary depending on the season, but generally include:
Natural Farming (Fukuoka Method): Helping our family cultivate the land using low-input, sustainable Doğal Tarım practices.
Orchard Maintenance: Pruning and caring for our olive trees to keep them healthy.
Construction & Masonry: Building traditional stone walls across the property.
Water Projects: Digging and constructing a well for sustainable water access.
Special October "Harvest Fest":
If you visit us in October, you are in for a treat! This is when we harvest our olives. We turn the hard work into a true festival—gathering the harvest together alongside live music, art creation, and celebration.

Hébergement
We have a beautiful, traditional stone house on the property that serves as our family hub. It has two comfortable bedrooms and a shared living room. In total, the house can comfortably sleep up to 6 people (2 couples and 2 singles).
Helpers staying in the stone house will share a communal kitchen and bathroom.
If you prefer to sleep under the stars or bring your own home on wheels, we also offer plenty of beautiful spots on the land for caravan parking and tent camping!
How will travellers benefit from a cultural exchange and what could they learn?

Autres infos...
Karapınar offers a serene, quiet escape, but you are never too far from adventure. During your time off, you can explore the rugged hiking trails of the Muğla hills or forage for unique rocks and natural materials.
Mumcular has local markets where you can experience authentic village trading and buy local goods. If you want to experience the coast, the vibrant city of Bodrum and its beautiful Aegean beaches are accessible via local minibuses (dolmuş).
