  Hello, I’m Ural. I’m 46 years old and based in Nicosia, Cyprus.
  
  Over the years I’ve hosted WorkAway guests in different settings — from a family home to a small creative studio focused on animation and sound. Recently, however, my focus has shifted almost entirely toward nature conservation, sustainability, and community-based work.
  
  I am currently a full-time volunteer involved with Taşkent Nature Park and the Cyprus Seed Bank, supporting real, ongoing projects related to biodiversity protection, seed preservation, and environmental organization. My role includes setting up systems, logistics, coordination, and practical hands-on work — especially around donation box organization and field operations.
  
  This is not a commercial project or a hostel environment. It’s a serious non-profit effort with long-term impact, connected to wider conservation networks and international collaborations. The work is meaningful, practical, and sometimes physically demanding — but also deeply rewarding.
  
  I value responsibility, honesty, curiosity, and people who enjoy contributing to something larger than themselves. Cultural exchange, shared meals, learning from each other, and mutual respect are important to me.
  
  If you’re interested in sustainability, nature, systems-thinking, or simply offering your skills in a place where they genuinely matter, we’ll probably get along well.

  Volunteers can learn about sustainability in practice, nature conservation, seed preservation, and how non-profit environmental organizations operate on a daily basis. Cultural exchange happens naturally through shared work, meals, discussions, and time spent in nature. Cyprus’ local culture, food, and history are part of everyday life.

  Hands-on help with nature conservation, non-profit operations, basic maintenance, logistics, and daily support activities. Tasks may include maintenance, assisting with food preparation, and general support for ongoing environmental projects.

  Simple shared accommodation will be provided. Facilities are modest and practical, suitable for volunteers who are comfortable with a community-style living environment. Shared kitchen and bathroom. Food is provided.

  In their free time, volunteers can rest, read, hike, and spend time in nature or visit nearby villages and cultural sites. This is a calm, purposeful environment rather than a tourist or party setting. Volunteers are expected to be respectful, reliable, and comfortable with a simple lifestyle and shared spaces.
