Description
My name is Jane and I am a professional woman. An archaeologist who is semi retired I am working for a few hours per week in aged care support. I have dogs and am Involved in horses and Riding Club. I am a hopeless gardener and would welcome some help in the garden. I consider myself to be a friendly, cheerful person who gets on well with people of all ages.

Jane was a great host and tried showing us as much as possible from Tasmania!, as we can't drive yet! Our time with her and her dogs was awesome, she even let us try horseback riding which was a great experience!

Laura and Leander were lovely to host and enjoyed outdoor activities such as kayaking and horse riding. They were happy to tackle any given task and enjoyed walking my dogs. I wish I had been able to show them more of this lovely island.

We had an amazing stay with Jane who welcomed us into her home. We shared dinners together and Jane so kindly lent us her camping things to go on a camping trip! Thanks so much Jane for making our time in Tasmania unforgettable!

Leo is a wonderful "workawayer." Vivacious, friendly and happy to tackle any job, she loved my dogs and helped around the house, garden and farm. She learnt the basics of horse riding and enjoyed kayaking on the river. Leonore was a pleasure to host!

Marie was a great worker and happy to turn her hand to anything. She helped with fencing and hay carting as well as gardening, housework and cooking. She enjoyed riding horses and kayaking on the river and was a pleasure to host.

We loved staying at Jane's farm. Jane was very welcoming, took us riding, we learned how to use cool tools and we gained a lot of confidence around the sweet horses. Very authentic horse farm in the most beautiful surroundings..!

Johan and Jonathan were delightful guests who were happy to give anything a try. They learned a number of farm skills including using a mechanical block splitter. Both love animals and enjoyed some horse riding experiences. Easy to feed and pleasant company, I would recommend this pair to any potential host.

It was so lovely staying with Jane for a week! Although I contacted her very last moment, I was welcomed with open arms. Jane showed me the country life in Northern Tasmania, introduced me to family and friends, and even gave me my first horseriding lessons ever! Also Clover and Rex are such lovely dogs :)

Kate Is a friendly and capable person who provided help with a disparate range of tasks. She is self motivated and requires little or no supervision. She was great with my dogs and horses and was good company as well.. I enjoyed having Kate to stay and would recommend her to any future host.

Weibke is cheerful and friendly and helped in the garden. She has not had a lot of WW experience but was easy to host and enjoyed her stay. I possibly needed to give more direction as to the jobs that needed doing, however Weibke tackled things happily.

I had a very enjoyable 6 months stay with Jane undertaking numerous activities and meeting some wonderful people during my time there. I enjoyed looking after the 16 horses, 3 dogs and at times 5 dogs and doing jobs associated with the place in a wonderful part of the country.
