  ***We do our best to reply as quickly as possible, but sometimes family life means it might take us a little longer. - also we prefer short term requests as we normally plan month by month and cannot confirm much in advance to know well upcoming tasks.***
  
  We’re a young and cheerful family: Juan from Argentina, Charly from Germany, and our two kids – Jacinto (6) and Camilo (3.5).
  
  We’ve been part of the Workaway community for many years, hosting travelers who helped us renovate an old house in Mendoza city. Now, life has brought us to a little home in Viastalba, Luján de Cuyo (just south of Mendoza).
  We also have a beautiful plot of land near the mountains where we dream of building our own house in the future. This spring, our main focus will be on planting trees, reforesting the land, and starting some small construction projects – and we’d love a hand with that!
  
  Juan is an artist and musician (singing, guitar, percussion) and is actively involved in the local cultural scene. Charly loves crafts and also teaches German.
  
  We know the joy of helping others too – as a family, we’ve volunteered on projects in Argentina, Germany, and the Netherlands.
  If you enjoy nature, creativity, and being part of a family atmosphere, we’d be happy to welcome you into our home!

  ***Hacemos todo lo posible por responder lo antes posible, pero a veces la vida en familia hace que tardemos un poquito más. Además preferimos solicitudes a corto plazo ya que nos organizamos de mes a mes y no podemos confirmar con mucha anticipación para conocer bien el panorama y las tareas ***
  
  Somos una familia joven y alegre: Juan de Argentina, Charly de Alemania y nuestros dos hijos – Jacinto (6) y Camilo (3,5). Tenemos una larga historia en Workaway recibiendo muchos viajeros que nos ayudaron a renovar una casa antigua en la ciudad de Mendoza.
  
  Ahora la vida nos ha traído a una casita en Viastalba, Luján de Cuyo (al sur de Mendoza). También tenemos un hermoso terreno cerca de la montaña donde soñamos con construir nuestra propia casa en el futuro. Esta primavera nos enfocaremos en plantar árboles, reforestar el lugar y comenzar algunos pequeños proyectos de construcción – ¡y nos encantaría contar con tu ayuda!
  
  Juan es artista y músico (canta, toca la guitarra y la percusión) y está muy activo en el ámbito cultural local. A Charly le encantan las artesanías y además da clases de alemán.
  
  También sabemos lo bonito que es ayudar a otros – como familia hemos sido voluntarios en proyectos en Argentina, Alemania y Países Bajos.

  As we met traveling, we really like the cultural exchange and we are interested in other languages. The exchange of one's own culture with that of the other as well as exchanging knowledge and experiences of travel and other cultures. We are also self-taught, that is, we like to learn to solve any problem that comes up being creative and curious. We are interiodized in the world of music, art and crafts, of conscious food and sustainable agriculture so we can give refferences and make contacts with people from these areas.

  Como nos conocimos viajando nos gusta mucho el intercambio cultural y nos interesamos por otros idiomas. El intercambio de la propia cultura con la del otro como tambien intercambiar conocimientos y experiencias de los viajes y otras culturas mas. Además somos autodidactas es decir nos gusta aprender a solucionar cualquier problema que se presente siendo creativos y curiosos. Estamos interiorizados en el mundo de la musica, del arte y de la artesanía, de la alimentación conciente y de la agricultura sustentable por lo que podemos dar referencias y dar contactos con personas de estos ambitos.

  Aide

  ENGLISH
  We’d love some help with planting trees – things like digging holes, taking young trees from the soil, moving them to their new spots, and so on. There will also be some small construction projects to work on.
  In spring we also start making marmelade, which can be another task to help with.
  
  We usually work around 4 hours a day, 5 days a week, and we provide breakfast and lunch so we can all share meals together. We don’t receive volunteers for longterm stays of several weeks.

  Nos encantaría recibir una mano con la plantación de árboles: hacer pozos, sacar arboles de la tierra, trasladarlos a su nuevo lugar, etc. También habrá algunos pequeños proyectos de construcción para colaborar.
  En primavera también empezamos a preparar dulces, lo cual puede ser otra posible tarea.
  
  Normalmente trabajamos unas 4 horas al día, 5 días a la semana, e incluimos el desayuno y el almuerzo para que podamos compartir las comidas juntos. No recibimos voluntarios para estadías largas de varias semanas.

  Hébergement

  Private room in the house with private bathroom. Also we have a big garden so if you come with a tent or van there is enough space. We still can provide pillows and blankets.
  
  Habitación privada en la misma casa con baño privado. Además tenemos un patio grande por si vienen con una carpa o un camper/van hay suficiente espacio. Tenemos almohadas y acolchados o frazadas para darles.

  We’re located in Vistalba, a beautiful and green area right on the winery and vineyard route. Just 50 meters from our house you’ll find a bus connection – it’s about 20 minutes to the city of Luján, or you can connect with another bus to reach Mendoza city in around 30–40 minutes.

  Estamos ubicados en Vistalba, una zona muy verde y hermosa en el circuito de bodegas y viñedos. A solo 50 metros de nuestra casa hay conexiones de bus: se tarda unos 20 minutos hasta la ciudad de Luján, o podes combinar con otro bus para llegar a la ciudad de Mendoza en aproximadamente 30–40 minutos.
