    Hébergement

I live in a little house, you will have a big and comfortable tent with madras, table and chair, the kitchen and bathroom shared.

We are well located—just 5 minutes from downtown, so you can easily walk to the center, the coast, and even to TAHAI. That’s a ceremonial site with lots of moai statues, and honestly, it’s where you’ll see some of the most amazing sunsets of your life. It’s really beautiful.

Regarding food, you buy your groceries and cook by yourself. Food on the island is generally very expensive, so it’s possible for you to bring food from Santiago, where it’s much cheaper. You can bring anything to the island by plane, in your backpack, so that’s not a problem at all.

The island itself is pretty small, so there are plenty of places you can explore on your own, going for walks or even little treks. But just so you know, to visit the National Park you do need to buy a ticket online and go with a guide—that’s the rule. In only two days with a guided tour you can actually see the most famous and important spots on the island.
The ticket costs around 100 USD and the price for the full tour of all the main sites is 75.000 CLP .
Other than that, you’re free to do a lot by yourself. You can even rent a scooter if you’d like, and just cruise around. There’s really so much to enjoy on your own.
