Description
We have a beautiful 10 hectare eco banana farm with views of Byron Bay and the ocean in the distance. We are mostly organic and don't use any harmful agricultural chemicals. Our farming philosophy is to work alongside nature in harmony causing as little harm as possible to plants, animals and the natural world. Harmlessness is something we focus on and try to apply compassion and kindness to every aspect of our project. Along with the farm we have a busy and fully booked holiday rental house business. We are three vegan people - a couple and a cute six year old boy.

There is a lot to learn for anyone interested in sustainable agriculture and ecological development. Also, after a few days at our place you will know all about how to grow bananas.
We are vegan too so we especially welcome vegans so we can share recipes and ideas about vegan philosophy.
We also welcome anyone creative who has suggestions on how to add art and colour to our property. We always have a mural or mosiac waiting to be done so let us know if you're artistically inclined.

Aide
We need help on the farm mainly weeding, mulching, whipper snipping and packing bananas for market. It's interesting and sometimes fun work. Mostly it's easy work and never too much stress or very hard. If you like kids come to play with our cute six year old boy. Sometimes the work is just playing with a cute little boy for a few hours here and there.

Accommodation is a very comfortable and modern self contained unit with kitchen and bathroom. The shower and bath are outside in the garden so we aren't suitable for everyone. Freedom seekers who like getting naked in nature will love it so if that describes you let us know. If you'd like an all over tan we have the place to get it. If you have body issues the best way to deal with them is to face the day as natural as possible and feel the sunlight and breeze fully where no-one will judge. Then you will know you are blessed. Every human body is an amazing, beautiful miracle regardless of how anyone thinks it should look and in our opinion is to be celebrated and experienced naturally, not covered with mass produced synthetic textiles and corporate fashion logos. We often host naturists (nudists) in our clothing optional short term rental so if the sight of naked people makes you uncomfortable don't come to our place. It's important to mention we are clothing optional and no one is required to be naked although requests acknowledging an interest in naturism are favoured.
Food is 100% vegan ie. food only sourced from the plant world and not from the animal world. We don't have milk or eggs because we believe they are for animals and have a hidden cost of cruelty same as meat. Many people love the food at our farm even if they're not vegan. We welcome everyone as long as they respect vegan philosophy. Cacao banana smoothies are the biggest hit.

We are a short stroll away from the Crystal Castle and the cute hippie town of Mullumbimby is just down the road. The beaches of Byron Bay are twenty minutes away by bus and the closest beach is a legal nudist beach. We can drop anyone off at the bus stop at any time. Whenever we go out to the shops or beach or bush walk etc you will be welcome to come along.
