We are a family of six plus a dog from the north of Hamburg and are looking for someone to help us with childcare from August 2022. Our two daughters are 9 and 5 years old and our sons are 2 and 0 years old. We live in a detached house with a garden in a natural location. We expect up to 30 working hours per week on regularly 5 and in exceptional cases on 6 days by arrangement. For us, reliability and trust are the core elements of harmonious cooperation. We hope that you enjoy childcare and that you are willing to integrate yourself into our everyday family life. We are also looking forward to new impulses and your own ideas, which we are happy to support and live by. We look forward to learning from you and your culture. We are a strict non-smoking household and maintain a balanced diet without any special features.
Wir sind eine sechsköpfige Familie plus Hund aus dem Norden von Hamburg und suchen ein Au-Pair Mädchen, dass uns ab August 2022 bei der Kinderbetreuung unterstützt. Unsere beiden Töchter sind 9 und 5 Jahre und unsere Söhne sind 2 und 0 Jahre alt. Wir wohnen in einem Einfamilienhaus mit Garten in naturnaher Lage. Wir erwarten bis zu 30 Arbeitsstunden pro Woche an regelmäßig 5 und in Ausnahmefällen an 6 Tagen nach Absprache. Zuverlässigkeit und Vertrauen sind für uns die Kernelemente eines harmonischen Miteinander. Wir wünschen uns von Dir, dass Du Spaß an der Kinderbetreuung hast und Dich bereitwillig in unseren Familienalltag integrierst. Dabei freuen wir uns aber auch über neue Impulse und eigene Ideen von Deiner Seite, die wir gerne unterstützen und leben. Wir freuen uns darauf auch von Dir und Deiner Kultur zu lernen. Wir sind ein strenger Nichtraucherhaushalt und pflegen eine ausgewogene Ernährung ohne Besonderheiten.

We offer the usual conditions for au pairs, such as board and lodging, participation in a language course, pocket money of €280 per month and, if necessary, health insurance. You can also feel like a full member of our family and take part in our leisure activities as you wish. We like to be outside in nature, go on bike trips, visit animal parks and are regularly on the nearby beaches of the Baltic Sea and North Sea. We also have a small motor boat here that we use for family trips and fishing.
Wir bieten die für Au-Pairs üblichen Konditionen wie Kost und Logie, Teilnahme an einem Sprachkurs, Taschengeld in Höhe von 280€ pro Monat und falls erforderlich eine Krankenversicherung. Weiterhin darfst Du Dich als vollwertiges Mitglied unserer Familie fühlen und an unseren Freizeitaktivitäten nach eigenem Wunsch teilnehmen. Wir sind gerne draußen in der Natur, machen Fahrradausflüge, besuchen Tierparks und sind regelmäßig an den nahegelegenen Stränden von Ost- und Nordsee. Hier verfügen wir auch über ein kleines Motorboot, dass wir für Familienausflüge und zum Angeln verwenden.

Your core task with us will be taking care of the children, ie we expect you to play, do handicrafts and romp with the little ones. If necessary, to bring you to the nearby day care center or school as well as to friends and events and/or to pick you up from there (usually by bike or on foot). We strive to complete as many routes as possible by bike. Our children like to be creative and we would be happy if you also brought this quality with you and if you would support and encourage our children in this. Everything you need is available or will be provided by us. Helping with the preparation and follow-up of meals and keeping your own room, the bathroom you use and the children's room in order are also part of your tasks. A domestic help comes to us once a week. Cleaning, gardening, shopping, doing laundry and the like will not be part of your regular chores. A driver's license is also not mandatory.

Deine Kernaufgabe bei uns wird die Betreuung der Kinder sein, d.h. wir erwarten von Dir mit den Kleinen zu spielen, zu basteln und zu toben. Sie ggfs. zur nahegelegenen Kindertagesstätte bzw. zur Schule sowie zu Freunden und Veranstaltungen zu bringen und/oder von dort abzuholen (in aller Regel mit dem Fahrrad oder zu Fuß). Wir bemühen uns, so viele Wege wie möglich, mit dem Fahrrad zu absolvieren. Unsere Kinder sind gerne kreativ und wir würden uns freuen, wenn Du diese Eigenschaft ebenfalls mitbrächtest und unsere Kinder darin unterstützen und fördern würdest. Alles was Du dafür benötigst ist vorhanden oder wird von uns besorgt. Mithilfe bei der Zu- und Nachbereitung von Mahlzeiten und das in Ordnung halten des eigenen Zimmers, des selbst genutzten Badezimmers sowie der Kinderzimmer gehören ebenfalls zu Deinen Aufgaben. Einmal die Woche kommt eine Haushaltshilfe zu uns. Putzen, Gartenarbeiten, Einkaufen, Wäsche machen und ähnliches wird nicht zu Deinen regelmäßigen Aufgaben zählen. Ein Führerschein ist ebenfalls nicht zwingend erforderlich.

The available room is on the top floor, is fully furnished, about 16 square meters, has 2 windows and a fully equipped small kitchenette as well as a separate bathroom of about 10 square meters with a shower for sole use. We will provide the au pair with a roadworthy bicycle. We are a strict non-smoking household and maintain a balanced diet without any special features. We offer three meals together at fixed times per day.
Das zur Verfügung stehende Zimmer befindet sich im Dachgeschoss, ist voll möbliert, ca. 16 qm groß, verfügt über 2 Fenster und eine voll ausgestattete kleine Kochecke sowie ein separates Badezimmer von ca. 10qm mit Dusche zur alleinigen Nutzung. Das Au-Pair wird von uns ein verkehrstüchtiges Fahrrad zur Verfügung bekommen. Wir sind ein strenger Nichtraucherhaushalt und pflegen eine ausgewogene Ernährung ohne Besonderheiten. Wir bieten drei gemeinsame Mahlzeiten zu festen Zeiten pro Tag an.

The nearest bus stop is around 250m and the nearest train station around 1.5 kilometers away. It takes about 45 minutes from the front door to Hamburg Central Station by public transport. Shops for everyday needs as well as small boutiques, pharmacies, doctors and supermarkets are available in the neighboring town (Duvenstedt) about 1km away.

Die nächste Bushaltestelle ist ca. 250m und der nächste Bahnhof ca. 1,5 Kilometer entfernt. Mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln benötigt man von der Haustür bis zum Hamburger Hauptbahnhof ca. 45 Minuten. Geschäfte für den täglichen Bedarf sowie kleine Boutiquen, Apotheken, Ärzte und Supermärkte sind im ca. 1km entfernten Nachbarort (Duvenstedt) vorhanden.
