  Description

  I live in beautiful Brunswick Heads, a short bike ride to the beach or bush walk to the river. This is Bundjalung country, a special part of the world where the rainforest meets the ocean. It rains here in summer, winters are warm and dry. There are waterfalls, beautiful beaches and luscious bushland to explore. For decades spiritual seekers have been attracted to the land here, with its ancient roots as a meeting place for peoples from across the continent.
  
  In Sep / Oct2026 I need help with these jobs
  Remove weeds manually and with eco spray.
  Mulching garden beds……lay cardboard on ground, around existing plants. Fork mulch into wheelbarrow and barrow from front of house to back garden. Use fork to spread around on top of cardboard.
  Clean the exterior of my studio in the garden and repaint.
  
  In exchange for 3 hours work for each day, I can offer
  
  - Queen bedroom and private bathroom, shared kitchen and laundry.
  - I cook primarily vegetarian meals. I will source what you enjoy to make your own breakfast and lunch and provide a homemade evening meal. I have excellent juicer and blender for smoothies and juicing.
  
  You do need to have your own transport as public transport is strictly limited and Uber does not service this town.

  There are limited buses from town into surrounding areas including Byron Bay so having your own car is ESSENTIAL? Please do not apply if you do not have your own transport.
  
  There is much going on locally, live music at the local pub, Sunday night drumming at the foreshore, a regular monthly market and plenty of beach and river landscapes to enjoy. Fantastic restaurants and stellar entertainment at the Brunswick Picture House.
