  Description

  My husband and I have a house and section in Strathmore Park, Wellington. It's a warm and comfortable house with a garden that gets a bit over-grown when we are busy. We work at home when we are in the country and will work together with you to teach weeding, pruning, mulching outdoor gardening work. Our vegetable garden is spray free and all the food we grow is organic. We have a greenhouse where we grow the more delicate plants all year round. The house faces north and gets all day sun and has solar panels. There are a lot of native birds in our garden all year round. We also have three naughty chickens in a run who love to help with any gardening activity. The house is close to the No.4 bus route into the city and 25 minutes walk to the airport. We cook hearty delicious meals and can bake delicious cakes and deserts too.

  Aide

  We need help to weed the gardens beds, prune back the shrubs, fruit trees, roses and mulch up the front garden beds. Tidy up the edges and trim hedges. The back garden is all organic and vegetable gardens. The greenhouse needs to be cleaned out and made ready for next season. We have all the tools and will work together on all the project and teach skills. Cleaning up and creating compost piles is important in this closed loop garden.

  Hébergement

  King single bed in a comfortable warm room, with all bedding and towels provided. We will provide three meals a day and snacks. We cook or provide space for the guest to cook for themselves.

  Wellington is an interesting city with lots to see depending on your interests. There are a lot of great walks on Miramar Peninsular, local movie theatre, Weta Studio tours, galleries and museums in the city. We are clean and sober and prefer no drinking, drug or smoking on the premises.
