  Description

  We have a large, comfortable village house in Saint Aignan sur Cher. The village is small but with the nearby tourist attraction of Zoo Beauval, it has some nice amenities, restaurants, shops, and friendly people. The house has been recently renovated by us and was, and is, a labor of love. We are currently working overseas and would like assistance with some maintenance and gardening. We are flexible with dates and length of stay. This would be perfect for someone who would like to experience French village culture and loves to garden.

  Saint Aignan is a small village but with the nearby tourist attraction of Zoo Beauval, it has some nice amenities, restaurants, shops, and friendly people. There are plenty of opportunities to practice French and immerse yourself in local culture.

  Aide

  There are several things we are hoping to get help with. The house has a large terrace and garden area. We have a drip irrigation system that is in need of some maintenance and we would like to expand the watering system to other parts of the garden along with installing a smart water timer, we have a plumber available to assist with some of this. The terrace also needs some general maintenance, the stone needs to be cleaned (we have a pressure washer), and potted plants and planters need some weeding and maintenance. We would also like some feedback on improving the design of the terrace and garden area, creative ideas are welcome! Our goal is to get the garden and terrace in order so that it will be easy to maintain and will be set up to be watered during the dry months. We do not expect to find one person that is an experienced dynamo at all of these things, but maybe you have interest and are willing to work with us on one or more of these projects.

  The house has 4 bedrooms and 2 baths. Your room has a double bed with ensuite. You would have the house to yourself. It has a large kitchen, laundry, tv, and wifi. You would need to provide your own food.
