Description
We are Baret and Katharina, a couple living in a peaceful rural village in the Stara Zagora region of Bulgaria. Our home is a beautiful old house surrounded by quiet landscapes and open countryside. We share it with two friendly outside dogs, Ida and Lily, and Freddie our gorgeous cat –
We are looking for help us in our large garden. We are startinga a vegetable garden for self sufficiency and to grow organic produce. There is always weeding and clearing to do trimming planting picking and watering. Keeping the outside areas clean and tidy for us all to enjoy. Sometimes we work on other projects like painting and maintenance jobs.and you can also join us with those if you wish.
The village offers quiet walks, fresh air and a genuine rural rhythm. If you appreciate nature, physical work and the satisfaction of seeing a project take shape, you will feel at home here.
We offer a lovely, comfortable queen size bed room with its own ensuite bathroom. Air conditioning for the warmer months and unlimited WiFi. We’re non-smokers and value a clean, respectful environment; smoking is permitted in the outside areas only. Our focus is healthy living, we cook plant-based, connection to nature and creating a harmonious space.
If you’re positive, responsible, enjoy working outside in the garden and enjoy simple village life, we would be very happy to host you. -

The cities of Stara Zagora and Plovdiv are a train journey away; they both have lots of history and Roman remains,especially Plovdiv with its amphitheatre and old town which is well worth a visit. Oldest Neolithic settlement in Stara Zagora.
We are located on the outskirts of Chirpan in the heart of an old village called Izvorovo set near forest and in the foothills of the Sredna Gora mountains.offerig hiking trails and beautiful walks. The next village has a very nice bar restaurant with pool table and outside swimming pool.. -
Aide
We need help in the garden weeding watering planting trimming etc.
Also if we working on a particular project you would welcome to work along side us.
We expect our guests to be considerate of other members in the house. tidy up after themselves and help at meal times.
We dont wear shoes in the house so please bring slippers or we have a few spares you can borrow. We live in a clean and happy environment and welcome like minded people. -
