  Hello, I am a hospital doctor and a mother of two. My youngest child, an 8-year-old boy, needs to learn English; he attends school and loves tennis. I live with my husband in an apartment in Palermo—close to the city center (an area rich in history) but also near the stops for the bus to Mondello, our local fantastic seaside resort. I need some help for my son, as his older sister (19) will be spending the academic year abroad, starting in September.

  Palermo is a city rich in art and culture, with a wonderful autumn climate that allows you to enjoy nature and crystal-clear waters well into November. Beyond language exchange opportunities, you can certainly count on excellent cuisine.
  Anyone who wishes to come to our home will become part of our family... they will be able to learn Sicilian customs and the ancient culture of our land by taking walks in the city or nearby. They will be able to learn to cook according to our traditions using our local products with me, and they will also be able to learn the
  Italian language through conversations with us or at the cinema or theater.
  We live near beautiful seaside locations that you could visit with us, but the city is also very lively and offers very interesting cultural experiences that we can suggest or guide you through

  I need help looking after my son, Luigi. He is 8 years old; he is very cheerful and loves playing tennis and soccer. Almost every day after school, he attends tennis lessons at a park near our home. I would like him to learn to speak English. I need help taking my son to tennis after school and keeping him occupied while I work—mainly in the afternoons and sometimes in the evenings.

  We usually have breakfast and dinner together at home; it is easier to be apart for lunch, though it is always possible to cook something at home since there is never a shortage of food.
  Sometimes we might have a meal out if we want to stay out and go for a walk.
