Description
Hello! We are a friendly and welcoming French-Spanish family with two teenagers (15 and 18 years old), and we’d love to share our summer experience in Menorca with a like-minded traveler. We will be spending four weeks in our home near Es Migjorn Gran in July, and we’re looking for someone who would enjoy being part of our family during this time.
Menorca is the most pristine of the Balearic Islands, with stunning beaches, charming villages, and a relaxed Mediterranean atmosphere. Our home is spacious, with a large garden, a pool, and a beautiful setting just a 15-minute walk from the village and a 10-minute drive to the beach.
What We Offer:
_ A private bedroom and bathroom in our home
Full room and board – we love cooking, sharing meals, and even having picnics on the beach!
The opportunity to explore Menorca, go paddle surfing, hike the beaches and discover the island’s hidden gems
A fun and lively atmosphere with our teenagers, their music, laughs, and creative cooking
We are looking for:
Someone 20 years or older with a valid driving license in Spain (our car is a stick shift) (ideally over 25 years old)
A responsible and friendly person who enjoys being part of a family environment
Help for approx. 3 hours in the morning with light housework
Driving our teenagers to the beach in the afternoons and occasional trips to the supermarket
A willingness to take part in daily life, including keeping your space tidy and helping with meals
We are a multilingual family (French, Spanish, Catalan, and English) and would love to host an English speaker for cultural exchange. You’ll be treated as another member of the family, with plenty of free time to enjoy the island.
Please note: We are looking for one person only (no couples or friends traveling together) and a non-smoker.

We are a French/Spanish family, so the workaway would be exposed to various cultures.

Aide
We are looking of a person WITH A DRIVING LICENCE. We would need help with some cleaning in the morning and drive the teenagers to the beach in the afternoon.
It is therefore imperative that the person have a driving licence valid in Spain and that the person be 20 years old at least (25 years old or above would be best). That person would have room and board in exchange for these few hours. That person would be able to discover Menorca island and enjoy the company of 2 teenagers, their music, laughs and cooking creations.
S/he would be treated like another member of the family. S/he would be expected keep her/his room and bathroom clean, prepare meals together with everyone. We are looking for a non-smoker. We are looking for one person only. Not couples or friends travelling together.

Our family speaks French, English, Spanish and Catalan. We'd be happy to offer language exchange. We love learning more about different cultures and backgrounds.
Hébergement
We live in Es Migjorn in Menorca, 15 min walk from the village. 10 min drive to the beach. Our house is quite large. The workaway would have his or her own bedroom and bathroom, plenty of privacy.
