Description
Ciao a tutti! I'm Michelangiolo and i live in a remote goat farm with vegetable garden in the woodland in the heart of Garfagnana. From Easter time to November we make many kinds of cheese, in the summertime we collect billberries, autumn is our porcini mushroom chestnut season, we have two horses and two donkeys . We live as much as possible from the land, all with a view to creating a self sufficient community for friends and volunteers. Wild situation.. internet Just sometimes

Volunteer can learn how to take care of goats. making cheese, gardening, farming. I'm happy to do a language exchange. I'm connected to other hosts in the area via a bartering system. Volunteers are given a good welcome and are considered part of the community for the duration of their stay here.
Aide
People who likes to stay in the nature, working with animals, wood and garden. We have 34 goats which we milk every day and make cheese from easter time to november Lots of other activities depending on the season such as collecting billberries, chestnuts, working in the veg garden, some light construction and much more. You will always be working with one of us or with another volunteer, and work is carried out in a stress free environment. Next project: build a new Stable for my goats, in ourself completly wood made from my chestnut Wood

Internet is limited and some days there is not network, especially whit bad weather. Wonderful walks right from the Door, River nearby for swimming or fishing and riding horse
