  Description

  Hi! We’re Skai & Susan, a French-American/Dutch couple who lived for many years in California and now call a peaceful piece of land in the beautiful Serra da Estrela our home.
  
  Skai spent three years in silence mastering ZeroPoint energy, the place where deep peace meets true power. He now helps people access this frequency, to rapidly heal, expand their psychoenergetics abilities and create a sovereign life. Susan is an Ayurvedic mentor and a passionate, caring doula, devoted to supporting people through healing, wellbeing and transformation.
  
  At the heart of what we’re creating is a shared intention to leave the Earth a little more beautiful, connected and alive than we found it.
  
  We’re now in the early stages of creating a retreat space and a healing, connection-centered village here, a place where people can come together to heal, reconnect with nature, grow, and experience a more conscious way of living. We’re looking for the right hands and hearts to help us bring this vision to life.
  
  And of course — our animals! Gaia, our beautiful golden retriever, is an absolute angel who loves cuddles and long walks more than anything.

  Meditation is simply how we live, and we're happy to share our practices with anyone curious. We're hoping to build a weekly shared movement practice together — if you have your own practice you love to share (yoga, dance, breathwork, anything), we'd love that too.
  
  And beyond the land itself — there are beautiful hikes right behind the house, and a lovely river beach just 7 minutes away by car.

  *The work*
  
  It's a mix of light farming (we just started a small vegetable garden), maintaining the land and keeping our *levadas* (natural irrigation channels) clear, caring for our natural pool, watering plants, tending to overgrown fruit trees, and possibly helping build small structures to improve the pathways around the property. Handyman skills or a knack for organization are a big plus.
  
  You'll mostly be working with whatever the land needs that day — teamwork is the dream here. It's also a real opportunity to learn and gain hands-on experience.
  
  We provide a payment of **€542 per month**.

  Hébergement

  Our dedicated volunteer area is still under construction — Paulo, our long-time builder, will soon start work on an outdoor kitchen. In the meantime, we have an improvised outdoor kitchen space you're welcome to use.
  
  For now, we can offer you a private, spacious bell tent surrounded by beautiful nature You’ll have access to the bathroom with a hot shower near the pool. Although it’s technically a shared bathroom, guests rarely use it, so it will basically feel like your own private bathroom. The washing machine is also located there, which you’re very welcome to use during your stay.
  
  We're happy to provide a food, we come together for shared meals sometimes! We eat mainly vegetarian/pescatarian.

  Autres infos...

  There are nice local markets on Saturdays, we have river beaches at a 7 min and 15 min distance (by car). We have a spring water pool that you can use. There are amazing trails close by in the Serra. There are yoga classes in the area. We live alcohol and smoke/drug free and would like to find someone ideally who lives the same or uses those substances mindfully.

  We are flexible in terms of hours during the day however we want agreements on a schedule that works for you in advance. For example 5 days a week 4-5 hours a day.
