  Description

  If you love working with your hands and have a talent for woodwork, we might be the perfect match.
  Right now, our biggest dream is to build a beautiful new home for our rabbits, guinea pigs, and chickens — and we’re looking for a skilled carpenter who’d like to make it happen. If you enjoy creating something tangible and lasting, while also exploring a new place and immersing yourself in another culture, we would love to welcome you here.
  
  Our club/farm is in the city of Lima, but tucked away from the chaos — about 1 to 2 hours from the busy center, depending on traffic. A taxi to the center costs around $12 USD, and if you have extra time and want to live the real local experience, you can take the buses (slower, but very authentic).
  
  You’ll be surrounded by nature, friendly people, and animals — we have 8 dogs, 3 cats, and of course our chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs. Life here is calm during the week and livelier on weekends when visitors come to enjoy our pools, sports areas, and food.
  
  We offer a comfortable place to stay, two meals a day (breakfast and lunch), and a flexible schedule so you can balance your work here with time to explore Lima and its surroundings.
  
  We’re a family business my grandparents started as their home, which later grew into the club it is today. I’m Carol, 33, their granddaughter. I’m currently abroad, but my family will be here to welcome you and make you feel at home.
  
  A few things to know:
  • Spanish is essential — nobody here speaks English.
  • Minimum stay is one week, but you’re welcome to stay longer.
  • We usually work 5 days a week and can adapt your schedule around your plans.

  Si eres de esas personas que aman trabajar con sus manos y tienen talento para la carpintería, podemos ser el lugar ideal para ti.
  En este momento, nuestro mayor sueño es construir un nuevo y bonito hogar para nuestros conejos, cuyes y gallinas, y buscamos a un carpintero con ganas de hacerlo realidad. Si disfrutas creando algo tangible y duradero, mientras exploras un lugar nuevo y te sumerges en otra cultura, nos encantaría recibirte aquí.
  
  Nuestro club/granja está en la ciudad de Lima, pero lejos del caos — aproximadamente a 1 o 2 horas del centro, dependiendo del tráfico. Un taxi al centro cuesta alrededor de 12 USD, y si tienes más tiempo y quieres vivir la experiencia real local, puedes tomar los buses (más lentos, pero muy auténticos).
  
  Estarás rodeado de naturaleza, gente amable y muchos animales — tenemos 8 perros, 3 gatos y, por supuesto, nuestras gallinas, conejos y cuyes. Entre semana la vida aquí es tranquila, y los fines de semana más animada, cuando llegan visitantes a disfrutar de nuestras piscinas, canchas y comida.
  
  Ofrecemos un lugar cómodo donde quedarte, dos comidas al día (desayuno y almuerzo) y un horario flexible para que puedas equilibrar el trabajo con tiempo para explorar Lima y sus alrededores.
  
  Somos un negocio familiar que mis abuelos empezaron como su hogar, y que con el tiempo se convirtió en el club que es hoy. Yo soy Carol, 33 años, nieta de los fundadores. Actualmente vivo fuera de Perú, pero mi familia estará aquí para darte la bienvenida y hacerte sentir en casa.
  
  Algunos detalles importantes:
  • La estadía mínima es de una semana, pero puedes quedarte más tiempo si lo deseas.
  • Normalmente trabajamos 5 días a la semana y podemos adaptar el horario a tus planes.

  We offer you a country life in the capital, the weather here is sunnier than it normally is in the town
  Pools are available until 5pm, sun bath when possible and wake up with 3 little birds (or lots more) singing
