Description
This is one of the biggest English Language training Camps in Sri Lanka. Annually 2000 students study and practise English language in our institute. We can provide food & accommodation for 500 students at the same time. Duration of an English Language Course is 20 days to 60 days. . Local teachers have been employed here.
We are looking for English speaking girls to be with us and help the local students to practise their second language. According to our culture, Sri Lankan girls hesitate to move with gentlemen, that is why we are looking for only young girls. You needn't have teaching skills. We have local teachers to teach them so you just need to stay inside the institute and let our students to speak English with you. We never expect any other help from you.If you are able to stay only for 4 days in a week with the students, that is more than enough. Rest of the week you can visit the whole island that is full of waterfalls, mountains, beautiful coastal areas, small islands, national parks, botanical gardens, rain forests and large number of historical ruins.
. We can provide good food and comfortable accommodation.
Your arrival is a great honor to us and also it is an invaluable support to the local students who have no opportunities to practise English with foreign English speakers.

I spent 10 days here as my first Workaway, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The staff and teachers are extremely welcoming and eager to practice their own English, as are the students. Ms Maya was one of the volunteers who is loved by many Sri Lankan students. She was always hanging out with the students. That is what we expect from a volunteer. We were always happy to have her with us. We recommend her for any future hosts. Do not hesitate to host her as she knows how to help in return. She is an excellent volunteer.

Fantastic hospitality!!! Stayed here for 4 weeks and they really took great care of me. I couldn't have asked for more. The staff and family is lovely and kind and the students as well. An experience I will never forget. Thank you a lot for having me!

I was 5 Days here. It is in the North of Sri Lanka. 3,5 hours with train from Colombo to Galgamumwa. Wasala picked me up with the car at the train station and also brougth me pack when i left.

In June/July I stayed at the school for 3 weeks. I'd recommend everyone to visit this place when travelling in Sri Lanka! The students live in the school and thus spend their entire day there.
