Tomasz contacted us on his own initiative, even though it was not in season. Fortunately, we were there and the winter weather was pleasantly mild. His work ethic was nicely positive and he was willing to lend a hand even in adverse conditions. During his time here he was always polite, unobtrusive and willing to help us. He also appreciated the

My stay with Viktor and Yue was an excellent experience to get to know Saxony and Chemnitz. I stayed in their house on the hill feeling like a part of the family. Their openness, curiosity and attention to details made it a really good experience. Around the house they have some projects like building a wooden house, organizing the surroundings,

There is a good balance between work, and I must especially say that Viktor and Yue are eager to invite you to their own life, traditions, routines and activities by which you can really get to know the local culture and ways of living. They also didn't have any problem with me organizing time for myself, but were always glad to recommend the best place or activity in the surrounding area.
I'd recommend the stay to any curious or open person. Yue and Viktor are both very well-traveled and are invested in various charity activities. Their house has a real unique touch to it. I truly enjoyed the stay. Yue and Viktor I wish you all the best

Viktor and Yue were my very first workaway experience, and I have to say it was an amazing start of a journey!
I stayed with them for two weeks, and we were able to get a lot done in their property. You surely have to roll up your sleeves, as there are plenty of heavy-work projects!
I got to know Chemnitz and many locals, learned about both East

I overall felt like I was part of the family and got very integrated from the start, and despite some little problems that come with the countryside life (like the septinc tank management) we were able to overcome everything pretty smoothly.
If you're an avid traveler and love talking about worldwide adventure, you definitely found your people ;)Laissé par l'hôte pour le workawayer (Giulia)
Guilia was a wonderful guest! We all loved to have her on our hill and she absolutely got a part of the family. And then some she shined at all help we asked her for and if I would run a company she would be one of my fav's having a good working morale and bright eyes for things that can be done. Thanks to her we did some good progress and had a

Gyula was our 3rd and longest staying guest with almost 3 weeks in which he became a caring part of the family! We share now so many great memories and can be proud of all the great progress we made, especially with the forest cabin. His profile isn’t too promising as you really get to know a great person, fine personality and new friend.

This positive working morale, strong will and endurance led to considerable results and was of real help. Sustainable as his diet and healthy lifestyle. Someone with a good humor, warm nature, attentive manner and intellectual approach.
Some images that come to our minds thinking back include woodpiles, a cleaned driveway, a screen wall, a campfire, walking stats (congrats to 4 mio. steps!), vegan dishes such as banana cake, pruned garden plants, medieval landscapes in Carcassonne, chased kings in chess games, Chinese vegan hotpot, smoked tofu, blueberry soygurt and great smiles. :-)
Thank you so much and take this as letter of recommendation, dear readers! Thumbs up! —Viktor & YuePhotos

It was so amazing an experience to spend my summer with Viktor & Yue on the top of the hill. Both of them are unbelievably hospitable. They always offer the best breakfasts and talks on the table. Besides, they have friends from all over the worlds. I was always meeting new interesting people when stayed with them. The environment of their place
… read more is also quite nice. The air is very fresh up the hill, and outside you have a forest for some great afternoon walk.
About accommodation, I have my own room to live in with a toilet. If you need to take a shower, you can go downstairs to use the shower equipment, or you can try a nice shower and enjoy the nature in the garden of Viktor & Yue. There’s now a newly settled shower stage:))
When I was in their place, we do quite a lot of cool projects. Including building stone walls, chopping woods, fixing the floor, assembling a huge and stable office desk for Yue and etc. Sometimes I also helped in the kitchen to give Yue a hand to prepared meals. Things you can do here really varies a lot. It depends on what kind of helps are needed and what kinds of skills you have.
It’s awesome to have my first workaway trip with Viktor & Yue and I really recommend them. Thank you again for your excellent host and hope you can have more and more superb travelers in Chemnitz!Vous pouvez seulement contacter les workawayers avec une adhésion active.

I'd say this was a fine start for Chun Hung in this network! Far away from home he reached our home after taking a language course in France. Some of the DIY projects we gave a try have been filling gabion cages, cobbling, gardening, wood chopping, log fire making, furniture assembly, recycling and how to welcome guests from all over the world. I appreciate his will to evolve and his friendly, calm nature. And to enjoy the natural environment around our hill home by exploring it by bicycle or hiking was something he notably liked as well as spending time independently, computing or relaxing. – We wish him to explore more of the world and to finish his study in medicine successfully! You are welcome here anytime! —Viktor & Yue

We stayed at Viktor & Yue's for a weekend while traveling through Germany. After doing many touristy things in Berlin, it was so nice to be welcomed into a quaint, charming home in the countryside. Rachel and Lauren have been our first guests here. They had visited Berlin and decided to use the free weekend to visit us. Both were kind, helpful and appreciative.
