Hi!! (Please read the full information)
We operate a guesthouse, and my partner and I manage a guesthouse in Boston, the largest city in New England,and the city with two of the most important universities in the USA and the world. It is a hostel for travelers. . We're looking to host and exchange different culture. Our minimum stay is one month, if you can stay close to one month, feel free to contact us.
Live in an American city and explore the best of New England, in the largest city in New England. You will be exposed to a lot of different cultures, since we host travelers. Boston is a vibrant city with lots of history.
We work hard on keeping clean and tidy for our guest, this is our priority, as well to be friendly and polite with our guest from different cultures. We try to keep a calm and relax environment, so everyone can enjoy a cup a tea and a nice talk. This is not a party guesthouse, so we ask to everyone to collaborate to have a chill environment.
We want people friendly and helpful, that are open to socialize with all the people in the house, regardless their culture, race, language, age, apperance, etc., comfortable in a bilingual environment (we speak English and Spanish).
We don't allow to smoke or keep marijuana in our house, since is a guest house.
Our busiest season is summer, please have this in consideration, if you want to come in summer expect to have a house full of guests.
You must be authorized to work in the USA. The minimum wage is provided for every hour worked for all helpers.

Live in an American city and explore the best of New England, in the largest city in New England. You will be exposed to a lot of different cultures, since we host travelers. Boston is a vibrant city with lots of history. We are located near the Boston train red line and the city center is 3 stops from us. We're also located walking distance to the South Boston beach. Yes! The beach is swimmable!
You will be practicing your English or Spanish, take a course in something of your interest, learning about the American society/culture and meeting people from different parts of the world 🌎🌍.L’hôte offre un salaire correspondant au salaire minimum

Generally we need help with checking guests in, daily household work, some light maintenance work (painting, cutting grass, gardening, etc), socializing with guest and help them around. Keep the house tidy and neat. Keep the eye in the house 🏠

You'll have plenty of time off to explore the city. Rent a bike and explore the city by night, see the historical sites, relax at the local beach, visit museums and famous universities around Boston and Cambridge. I also have a small motor boat and if you're interested, you can help me lobster fish in the summer months. So this will work well for someone who likes to be active and do sports. Meeting people from different countries, walking ground, going out to party, etc

Joe and Sabina are really nice and are always very helpful and accommodating.
The hostel is nice and cozy, clean and I quickly felt at home.
The work is very easy and the shifts are very fair.

I could tell she really cared about the work and handled all the tasks well, and even the tasks that she wasn't familiar with, she learned quickly. Conka was a great person to meet and get to know. She was really friendly and knew how to handle herself in difficult situations. We shared meals together and she was a great cook. She got along well with the other guests and staff, and when unexpected things came up, she was able to think and solved issues. I would definitely welcome her again.

Elisa stayed with me for a month in the spring. She was very good with the assigned tasks during her stay.
She was friendly to the guests and was very helpful when they needed it. In the spring, we are often very busy
