I spent 2 weeks with this family and I felt very welcomed. I have worked diferent jobs and the place is beautiful. They also gave me a bike to go around in my free time. There are many walk paths in the forest you can enjoy. They are very kind people.

Their commitment to both their work and their own wellbeing is something I deeply respect. They found the perfect balance between working hard and enjoying the surrounding nature—swimming in the wild, exploring the forest, visiting medieval villages, and fully embracing the French culture.
During a happy but intense time of adjusting to life with a new baby (who doesn’t sleep much!), Anna and David were a true gift. They adapted effortlessly, always kind and considerate of our lifestyle. They stayed with us for an entire month, and we are so grateful for everything they did for our home and family.
To anyone fortunate enough to host them next, please treat these wonderful souls with the kindness and respect they truly deserve. They are honest, hardworking, and a joy to have around.

Their initiative was impressive—they noticed areas we hadn’t even considered, like adding a new shelf unit to help organize our workshop. They also treated us to delicious meals and easily adapted to the slower pace of life that comes with a newborn, all while radiating calm, happy energy.
We would absolutely love to have them back in the future. If they move on to help others, I hope those lucky enough to host them appreciate them as much as we did!

We had this adorable couple stay with us for only a very short time but they graced our house, land and hearts with some lovely energy and blessed the soil with their hands. After only one day they and our other amazing workaway transformed the vegetable garden in to a beautiful mandala garden ready to plant some food. We had some great chats

I am a little late in writing this but wow Claire you totally blew me away as being one of the most hardworking, genuine and straight up people I have ever met. I couldn't recommend her highly enough, she is such a good laugh too. She worked well over anything that we asked, I didn't feel like the exchange was fair, given how hard she worked but
… read more she seemed very happy to and really genuinely wanted to help. She just loved to get into things (especially organising things), stay focussed and complete the task in hand, so meticulously. She totally sorted out our land and our house with this level of focus.
We enjoyed eating together and had some really nice conversations about education, humanitarian work, social work, spirituality etc. She was just an utter joy to have around. Really easy going and we missed her when she left. She was also great with the animals and other guests we had staying.
She has some powerful stories to tell on her humanitarian work, which I found incredibly moving. She was an inspiration and blessed myself, my partner and this place with her positively authentic energy. Total angel :-)

We hosted Niya and Eddy last summer. for roughly four weeks (firstly only Eddy for two weeks then both of them for another two weeks). They are such a sweet couple. They are extremely calm and intelligent people. Niya is young but has a wise head on her shoulders and we loved listening to her stories about her journey into natural horsemanship and
… read more nature connection. We appreciated every aspect of the work they accomplished here and were exceptionally good with ideas and worked well as a team, often doing more than was expected. Eddy helped build some outdoor showers and designed the sink tops with mosaic design and assisted me with all the plumbing and building the shower units including painting and other wood design. They also built walls for the compost toilets using quite hefty power tools. We were also impressed with Niya sawing logs for benches with a chain saw! They made some beautiful benches for outdoor fire circles and a beautiful table for the outdoor bathroom all with our own oak from the woodland. Eddy also did some gardening for the kitchen herb garden. They helped create our fire circle space for a nature connection course we ran here. They both cleared huge amounts of neglected woodland to make space for camping. And finally they both got really stuck into one of the biggest jobs we had last year with my partner by digging out a huge barn and putting concrete down. Absolutely commendable work indeed! And last but not least, the incredibly delicious food they cerated for us.
On a personal note, we really appreciated their calm and peaceful nature as it suited out lifestyle very much. We had enough time to connect over meals and fire time, as well as enough space to ourselves. There was a great energy which suited our pace of life. I loved their approach to life, which is very much in line with our values of working hard, resting well , with joy and gratitude, ultimately creating higher productively in a much healthier way using non violent and non dominant models, which moves away from old paradigms. This was apparent in the ways in which they communicated, worked, cooperated and connected. I wish the both well and would welcome them back anytime.

Toby is very interesting man, efficient and logic in organizing working plan and have great flexibility with people, both have kindness and support to make you feel confortable. Our creativity was able to flow freely in the mandala garden project and the other tasks were fun too :) We enjoyed the meals and time we shared, it's been great to meet some of your friends, the tasty cultural exchange (roasted dinner!) was on piont and the warm November sun warmed us during work and free time. Our walks in the beautiful forest nearby recharged the batteries and strengthened our connection to nature in beautiful ways. We're very grateful to have spent the 2nd lockdown in that way, thanks for hosting us!

Niki y Toby son dos personas amables muy enérgicas para el trabajo , divertidas e interesantes con ganas de compartir sobre lo que hacen en su vida.
Fue una experiencia enriquecedora donde aprendí conceptos de permacultura, vida en el campo , construcción de pequeñas estructuras, cultura inglesa y muchas cosas más.
