    Hello! My name is Megan. I taught elementary school for 13 years in the United States before moving to Spain in 2017, where I taught English as a Foreign Language. My experience in Spain was priceless and has given me the opportunity to see the world from a different perspective. During Spain’s lockdown, I taught remotely and connected with students all over the world. I returned to the US in 2021 where I reconnected with family, worked as a middle-school teacher, lived next to the ocean, and became a certified yoga instructor. I recently completed my second yoga-teacher training in Verona, Italy.

    I would like to be your yoga instructor more than anything, speaking in English. Sessions will be personalized and sequenced to meet your needs and goals. (e.g. stress reduction, grounding, emotional healing meditations and movements, hip opening, core, etc.) It's okay if you're a total beginner!

    I believe yoga is for everyone and every body. It is not a competition, but rather a personal practice where we aim to calm the fluctuations of the mind and to connect the mind, body, and spirit. In addition, yoga can be energizing and empowering. My aim is to help you feel comfortable and supported while simultaneously feeling stronger, balanced, and empowered.

    I am also Reiki Level 3 attuned and can offer reiki sessions. In addition, I'm studying Energy Medicine and would love to practice that with you.

    I am mature, responsible, friendly, and cooperative. I'm vegetarian, but it doesn't bother me if people eat meat around me.

    I am learning to play guitar and would love if you have a guitar that guests can play with or if you play music yourself. That would be fun!

    An important note: One of my main goals this year is to have time to practice meditation, breathwork, and yoga. If I'm studying on my own, I hope that it isn't viewed as anti-social or selfish. My body gets tired around 22/23 or so and I like to wake up with the sun. Therefore, I am not looking for an environment that is very loud at night with lots of partying. (Once in a while, sure!! But, not all the time.) I've lived in cities for a long time and now I'm looking for a lifestyle that is more peaceful. In good news, you will not have to entertain me much! With that being said, I would love to learn more about your culture/town and it would be fun to do small excursions, but I don't feel the need to be busy or "doing" all the time.
