Hello!
My name is Yasmin (pronounced YAS-MEEN). I am turning 24 in February and have graduated university with a degree in Women Studies and Food Studies from North Carolina, United States. I am looking to work and learn through community in nature-focused environments, which is how I found the magic of Workaway. I did workaway two summers ago on a family farm in Italy and fell in love with the concept. This time, I am looking to stay somewhere for much longer, exploring Europe for at least 6 months, all while absorbing the languages, food, and culture prospering around me. I would love the opportunity to carry out any of my passions for art, food, and teaching children (eventually would love to be an elementary art teacher or food educator). I am fluent in English and Hebrew, and conversational in Spanish, and very open and eager to learn any new languages. I run a food and art blog and would love to continue writing about my experiences with these opportunities and overall learn from the people, animals, plants, and art surrounding me.

Fun fact: I am a radio disc jockey at my local radio station! I would be happy to share music with each other and if I am focused on a project you will find me with headphones in at all times.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Have worked in community gardens and gained skills in working on a family farm through Workaway but not super experienced in outdoor manual labor beyond that, extremely open and eager to learn however.

Worked with children through babysitting, children's sports programs, and a year volunteering at a childrens museum.

Love anything artistic and constantly trying to expand my skillset with art (I regret not doing an art degree at school so looking for alternative opportunities to build a portfolio and learn from other artists).
