Description
Hi, I`m Yoko, just graduated and now I want to explore the world :). I enjoy getting to know people by traveling, exchanging cultural experiences, music, or favorite dishes, exploring hidden spots in foreign cities, hiking, cooking, and laughing together.
In 2021/22 I spent 10 months living with a host family in Spain and since then I have missed the country- its people, its sun, food, and music every day.
In my hometown Hamburg, life is a bit different but I still really enjoy living here. In my free time, I like to cook, go out with my friends, chat in a café, go thrifting in vintage shops, or to do spontaneous short trips.
Last year I worked on a farm in Slovenia for some time, while traveling through eastern europe, which was one of the best experiences of that trip, so I´m excited to collect new memories with workaway.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have been working in a café in the service department as well as a barista for two years now, where I enjoy making people happy with delicious coffee and supporting my colleagues whenever I can. When I´m not working, I love to cook for my friends and family.
Also, I give tutoring classes in german, english and sometimes in basic spanish.
During my last stay on a farm in Slovenia, I helped to remove weeds, harvest tomatoes, carrots and onions, sorting the harvest, tidy up or clean and do other tasks on the farm, such as cooking. Learning new things about permaculture fulfilled me and I would like to learn more about that :)

I´m baddd at learning card games but enjoy playing them (eventhough I´ll probably lose because I misunderstood another card-game-rule ;)). One of my goals for this year is to begin to learn how to surf and to paint more, which I really enjoy.
