Hi! Im happy you found my profile. My name is Yô-Anna, I’m a 24 year old girl from Sweden who’s looking for a volunteering position in a spanish speaking country.
My interests include all dancing (mostly salsa) knitting, reading, self development, cooking, meaningful conversations, fitness, health, psychology, nature, language, culture, spirituality, religion, hiking….
I see myself as I calm and collected person with both feet on the ground. I love adventure and I’m a day dreamer and I love to ask questions and listen with an open mind.
How growing up in Sweden has shaped my personality: Our culture emphasizes politeness and respect, especially towards new people. At first, we can be a bit reserved but this is not to be mistaken for being standoffish, we simply respect people taking their time to open up and never want to step on anyone’s toes. The more comfortable we get, the more we share and this truly lets me make genuine connections with people and not say things I don’t really mean. Knowing when to give space and when to engage with people is important for me. Being able to build trust is something I value highly and I always want to make sure that people feel like they can be honest and themselves around me!
I spent four months of summer onboard a superyacht, working long hours, mostly without any days off. It was a real challenge, but I learned a lot! Being disciplined, identifying where assistance is needed and taking initiative on tasks, collaboration, maintaining a high standard.
I’m craving something real and authentic and I appreaciate being around curios and active people who always have something going on and loves life!

I have a diverse working background with experience in yachting, child mining, kindergarten, service, housekeeping, hospitality, hotel/lodges/hostel, cleaning, bartending, event staff, personal training, warehouse. What I would like to expand on is gardening and building.
