Description

My name is Yardenne, and I am 23 years old. I have completed my degree in Spanish and Italian with TESOL and am currently doing a Postgraduate degree to become a primary school teacher.. I am very passionate about serving the community and have gained great trust and valuable experience through my volunteer work. I am a level two qualified swim teacher, teaching children between the ages of two and twelve for the past six years. My previous work experience also includes working as a lifeguard, teaching children of all ages, and working with special needs children.

Foreign languages have always been an integral part of my life, growing up in a bilingual family; my father is from Israel and my mother is British. I have developed an in depth appreciation of the importance and beauty that diversity brings, and a love for modern languages. I intend to forge a career that uses my language skills to help teach others, and to make a difference.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Part of my university course is Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages. I have a strong passion to teach others my native language, and have had experience teaching private and group lessons to students learning English with a range of abilities. I think this is what drives me to want to learn new languages myself. I am currently studying Spanish and Italian at university and would love the opportunity to live in Spain to further my progress.

Through my teaching work and my work in the community, I have become a strong communicator with good organizational skills, demonstrating an ability to work under pressure and solve problems. My voluntary work has given me opportunities to demonstrate my leadership and teamwork skills, showing perseverance and resilience. In my spare time, I thoroughly enjoy music, such as playing the piano, which I am a grade 3, and singing.

Aside from working and swimming, I love spending time with my friends and family. In particular, my 9 year old sister. I love taking her on adventures, both outdoors doing tree trekking, horse riding and cycling, as well as indoors playing card games, watching our favourite TV programmes and doing karaoke.
I love meeting new people and learning new skills, and I am always up for an adventure.
