My name is William and I'm a 28-year-old American currently living and working in Germany. I've primarily signed up for Workaway because I find it's the quickest way to get in touch with people while traveling. It also helps me see a new place through the eyes of those who live there, whether that be language exchange or participating in their daily life. I currently work in the documentary film industry, but I have a broad array of diverse work experiences, from teaching in schools to working in restaurants. Admittedly I'm not very experienced at working in construction, maintenance, or gardening, but I find that I'm a quick learner and I'm willing to try anything :)

Basically I'm a hard-working and sociable college student who's willing to try anything - no formal skills to speak of, but definitely able to adapt.
In terms of languages, I am a native English speaker with a solid knowledge of English grammar and vocabulary, and I have experience teaching the language to non-native speakers. I also speak Spanish and German at a high level and have a rudimentary knowledge of French and Czech.
