Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I'm a practical, reliable and enthusiastic person who enjoys being outdoors, learning new skills and contributing to meaningful projects. For the past four years I have been working in London, I'm now taking some time to travel, experience different cultures and gain more hands-on experience in conservation, sustainable living and community projects. I have developed strong organisation, problem-solving and communication skills.

I have previous volunteering experience on a permaculture farm through WWOOF, where I helped with a variety of seasonal tasks and gained an appreciation for sustainable agriculture and self-sufficient living. I've also volunteered for three months with a local park habitat group, carrying out practical conservation work such as habitat management, vegetation clearance and general maintenance to improve biodiversity. In addition, I have experience in beekeeping and enjoy learning about pollinators and the natural environment.

Outside of volunteering, I enjoy hiking, cycling, running, camping and spending time in nature. I'm particularly interested in conservation, wildlife, regenerative farming and environmental education.

I'm happy to get stuck into a wide range of tasks, whether that's gardening, weeding, planting, animal care, cleaning, painting, basic maintenance, DIY, hospitality, reception work or helping with guests. I'm physically fit, a quick learner and enjoy both independent work and being part of a team. I'm not afraid of hard work and always aim to leave a place better than I found it.

I hold a current UK DBS check, speak English fluently and have a full UK driving licence. I pride myself on being tidy, respectful, dependable and easy to get along with. I'm looking for hosts where I can make a positive contribution, continue learning practical skills and immerse myself in the local community and environment.

Outside of volunteering, I love exploring new places, meeting people from different backgrounds and spending as much time outdoors as possible. In my free time you'll usually find me hiking, cycling, trail running, camping or cooking. I also enjoy sailing, surfing whenever I get the chance and learning practical skills.

I'm passionate about wildlife and conservation, and I enjoy visiting nature reserves, birdwatching and learning about local ecosystems wherever I travel. I hope to build a career that combines environmental conservation, sustainability and working outdoors, so I'm always keen to learn from people with experience in these fields.

I'm easy going, tidy and considerate to live with, and I enjoy spending evenings chatting over dinner, playing board games or cards, or relaxing with a book after a day's work. I'm always happy to share meals, help out where needed and become part of the household or team rather than just passing through.

I believe the best part of travelling is the people you meet, and I'm looking forward to exchanging cultures, learning new skills and contributing wherever I can.
