Hi everyone, we're Wes and Isabelle

We're both from a small town in the western United States. Wes grew up on a small ranch and has always enjoyed working with plants and animals. He also renovates houses professionally and is skilled in many areas of construction, gardening, and business management. Isabelle is a big sister to six younger siblings and has worked as an au pair in three different countries. She is also an incredible vegan cook. We first went traveling together in 2019. We've done Workaway at farms, hostels, and schools in Cyprus, Turkey, and Morocco.

We both aspire to live simply. We are environmentalists who tend to our own garden and are always looking for ways to live more sustainable lives. Our dream is to one day build our own sustainable farm. We would love to do Workaway somewhere we can learn about permaculture, natural building, preserving food, mycology, beekeeping, renewable energy, or can assist with childcare and housework.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Gardening/Farm Work: Wes grew up on a small ranch and we've both worked on multiple farms. For multiple years, we've built our own garden. We have some understanding of irrigation systems, companion planting, and compost.

Maintenance/Construction/DIY: Wes fixes and renovate houses professionally. He has some experience in most aspects of building: plaster, carpentry, floors, tile, paint, electrical, and more.

Childcare/Babysitting: We both love children. Isabelle has six younger siblings and has worked in childcare for many years.

Cooking: We love cooking and have both worked in many restaurants.

Hospitality/Tourism: We've both worked in hostels where we were responsible for cleaning, reception and socializing with guests.

Teaching: We both have experience tutoring people of all ages and skill levels in English.
