Hi! I am Viola, a 23 year old psychology student from Denmark. I am currently doing a gap year. I want to explore and volunteer during this time. I love learning about new cultures, languages, nature, food, cities etc. I am a very calm person, who loves to smile and spread joy around me. I am motivated to do volunteering in a foreign city because I would love to experience a new place as well as meet new people.

I have experience with hostel and hotel work, tutoring and counseling, and I am open to gaining new experiences within different fields.

My hobbies include playing the piano, running, reading, gardening and painting.

Hi! My name is Wilma and I am a fourth year engineering student, previously having studied city planning and economics and currently specializing in computer science. My previous work experience include positions as a coffee barista, salesperson, gym promoter and office secretary. I have worked with costumer service in English, Swedish, Finnish and Danish. I have also had voluntary tutor positions both within school and within sports.

I am from the countryside and grew up around horses, so I am comfortable around animals and with physical work. Practical skills include cooking, gardening, construction, clearing forest, etc. Hobbies include weightlifting, running, skiing, reading, and, of course, cooking and eating great food.

I have lived abroad for shorther periods before and it has always been an incredibly rewarding experience. I signed up for Workaway for an opportunity to connect with people, experience new places and to learn more about European cooking and flavour.
