Hello! I had been traveling around Latin America for the last 3 years. First in Costa Rica and then Panama, where I bought a sailboat. I was traveling and fixing up my boat in Panama and Colombia for over 3 years. I was actually a workaway host myself; both on my old boat, and assisting manage a permaculture farm hosting volunteers in Costa Rica.

Now I am in Zimbabwe, originally to attend a seminar on food security and international policy through a scholarship program with the US Department of State. After the program, I intend on traveling around Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana, Namibia, Kenya, and Tanzania, with the goal of working with communities. I have a lot of experience working on farms, and that is where I thrive, but I am also eager to help with schools or other types of organizations.

I have volunteered at farms in North America in California for 6 months, in Peru for a few weeks, and in Spain and Portugal for 2 months, and more recently Costa Rica and Panama. I recently graduated university, recieving my bachelors in Environmental Science and Sustainability.

I am a digital nomad - I work online for a nonprofit called Environmental Educucation Fund, based in the US. I work part time, about 30 hours a week. Mostly I can work at my own schedule, so it would be no probelm for me to volunteer for 3-5 hours in the mornings and then my online work after lunch. But this means I do need a location in which I can find reliable internet for a few hours a day!

I also have a nice camera that I will be bringing and can take plenty of pics and videos for you :)

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have experience working at organic farms in many different climates. My skills include general farm tasks. I know how to work with a large variety of plants including small and delicate herbs :) and I’m not afraid to get my hands dirty !
I am also a bit handy, as I have been living on, working on, and fixing up my sailboat for the last 2 and a half years.
I worked online as an ESL teacher for 6 months (kids and adults), so I have some experience with teaching, too.
