I am looking to travel to Spanish speaking countries to practice my Spanish. I also want to get involved with conservation projects and anything that involves art!

Description

Hello! I am Veronica (or Vero), a graphic designer and multimedia artist from New York. I am Peruvian, Guatemalan and Ecuadorian and I grew up in a small farm town upstate. I spend most of my free time taking my dogs on hikes, painting, drawing, reading and spending time with my siblings. I love all kind of art, music and spending solo time in nature.

Since I was little, I've always had an adventurous spirt and dreamed of visiting a world outside the Hudson Valley area. Don't get me wrong, it's beautiful here; but ever since I went to University, I have been introduced to so much culture and diversity that it makes it hard to think about settling here without experiencing what the rest of the world has to offer.

My current goals are to practice my Spanish, experience new cultures and be fully immersed in nature. I am of South American decent but 2nd Generation, meaning I understand Spanish but I have a hard time speaking it. I would love to do a language exchange/ culture exchange to help improve my Spanish speaking and confidence.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Spanish: Intermediate, I can understand it relatively well but I need more practice speaking

Animal care: I have taken care of a variety of pets an animals that were my own or belonged to family members my whole life. I have also rehabilitated a wild animal before on my own. I would love to learn more about farm animal care as chickens are the only farm animal I've taken care of on my own.

Technology: I am a very tech savvy person. I am a graphic designer so I can use most editing software such as the adobe suites. I also worked in Tech so I can help troubleshoot if you need any help with files or printing

Cooking: I am a great cook and can manage cooking for groups of people. As long as I have a recipe I'm all set

Housework: I have worked with my grandmother cleaning houses and office spaces since I was in middle school. I can also sew and work with tools.

Like I mentioned before, I am an artist! I love to create work for people (most of the time its better than the art I make for myself) so if you need an art assistant I would be more than happy to help! I have assisted in multiple murals and art projects in the past few years.
