Hi! I'm Veronika from Germany.
After finishing high school, I want to take some time to explore the world in a slower and more meaningful way. Instead of rushing from one place to another, I'd love to experience daily life in different places, meet new people, and learn from them.
Nature is where I feel happiest. I love being near the ocean, going for long walks or hikes, and enjoying simple moments like watching the sunset or having good conversations. I'm a curious and open-minded person who enjoys trying new things and stepping out of my comfort zone.
I'm looking for a Workaway because I believe it's a wonderful way to connect with local people, learn new skills, and contribute while travelling. I enjoy helping wherever I'm needed, whether it's in a hostel, working with animals, gardening, or supporting everyday tasks. I'm always willing to learn and do my best.
What brings me the most happiness is meeting kind people, sharing experiences, laughing together, and creating memories that last much longer than a normal holiday.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I have two years of experience working in a café, where I developed strong customer service skills and learned how to work efficiently in a busy environment. This experience taught me responsibility, teamwork, and how to stay calm and organized, even during stressful situations.
In addition, I'm experienced with household tasks and enjoy gardening. I'm not afraid of physical work and like staying active. I'm always happy to help wherever I'm needed and enjoy learning new skills.
I would describe myself as reliable, friendly, open-minded, and motivated. I enjoy working both independently and as part of a team, and I always try to bring a positive attitude to everything I do.

In my free time, I love being active and spending time outdoors. I play volleyball, go to the gym, and I'm currently training for a triathlon. I also enjoy trying new sports and experiences. I’ve already tried boxing and surfing, and I love a bit of adventure and adrenaline.
I also love cooking and enjoy preparing meals for myself, friends, and family. I would be happy to share recipes, cook together, and learn dishes from different cultures.
When I want to relax, I enjoy reading a good book or playing card games with friends. I'm always happy to meet new people, share stories, and learn something new, whether it's a new hobby, a recipe, or a different way of life.
