Hey!

My name is Tom and I'm a 20-year-old recent graduate from Germany. I just recently finished school and would love to gather some experiences and memories traveling the world until I start university next year.

I've chosen England as my destination because I've had the chance to visit several times during my childhood and I absolutely fell in love with the country. Now that I'm older, I'm excited to go back and spend more time there.

I don't bring any work and travel experience since this is my first time having this opportunity, but I'm motivated to meet, help and especially connect with new people.
I especially love hands-on work and creative tasks like construction, gardening or renovation work. Additionally I love working and living with animals since I've grew up with rabbits and cats my whole childhood.

Even though I never got to travel with WorkAway, I did go on multiple language exchanges throughout the years for example to places like Portugal which were always an incredible opportunity to get in touch with new people around the globe.

I'm looking forward to continue this journey, make memories and meet new people this summer!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

Even though I just graduated I worked at supermarket the last 4 years besides school, where I was able to acquire a set of handy skills from working with customers, teamwork, handling stressful situations and reliability to cleaning or fixing around the store.

I can for example offer experience in:

- working around the house for example simple construction or fixing tasks
- working in teams or with other people
- general tasks and chores like cleaning, grocery shopping or cooking
- taking care of pets and other animals
- internet or tech related tasks (additionally graphic design, 3D design and music production)
