Description
Hi! We are two recent philosophy graduates looking to travel the US for our gap year. While we're not tied down by jobs and life, we wanted to experience different cultures, meet new people and make some fun memories! We're both outdoors people, big film nerds, love our music, and into our arts and literature :)
We're hardworking and not afraid to get stuck in, both being very practical people. We'd love to help with any projects, chores and house or garden work while giving us the opportunity to explore the US and its people. Both of us are great with pets and animals too; whatever you need help with, we'll make ourselves useful!

I was born and raised in London, but am half Turkish and half Japanese. I have a lot of family in those countries so I try to visit as much as possible. Having grown up in such a multicultural environment, I'd love a chance to learn about other cultures too! In the future, I am hoping to go either into cognitive research or museum work, but I am keen to make the most of my time until then.

Experiencing the diversity of university life after being raised in a small seaside town has left me wanting to continue meeting people far different from myself- travelling gives me the perfect opportunity to do that while gaining precious life experience and skills. I'm looking to (hopefully) go into the film industry after travelling, and have experience in media creation and editing if you need help with anything relating to that! I love food and cooking for others, as well as any practical projects, or anything that puts me outdoors. I'm also keen to learn about and engage in any artistic projects you might have :)
