Wer sind wir?
Wir sind eine vierköpfige Familie – neugierig, engagiert und offen für die Welt.
Ich bin Nilaï, französisch-deutscher Herkunft, 31 Jahre alt, Familienmediatorin und Juristin. Ich spreche fließend Französisch, Deutsch und Englisch. Ich begeistere mich für Begegnungen, Vielfalt, Kommunikation und die Welt der Kindheit. Ich bin eine enthusiastische und kreative Person.

Mein Partner David ist ebenfalls 31 Jahre alt und französisch-kamerunischer Herkunft. Er arbeitet als Bauleiter und ist leidenschaftlich interessiert an Kindern, Sport, handwerklicher Arbeit, Gartenarbeit, Tieren und allem, was mit der Natur zu tun hat. Er spricht Französisch und Englisch.

Wir haben zwei Töchter im Alter von sechs Jahren und bald zwei Jahren. Mit ihnen verbringen wir gerne Zeit draußen in der Natur – beim Spielen, Basteln, Entdecken. Als Eltern ist es uns wichtig, ihnen Werte wie Offenheit, Neugier und Respekt mitzugeben.

Wir leben in der Bretagne, wo wir beide aufgewachsen sind – eine Region, die wir sehr lieben wegen ihrer unberührten Natur, der Nähe zum Meer und ihrer starken kulturellen Identität.

Unsere Erfahrung und unsere Werte
Bevor wir Kinder hatten, haben wir ein Jahr lang gemeinsam Freiwilligenarbeit geleistet:
– in Südafrika (in drei Waisenhäusern),
– in Frankreich (an einer Schule in einem sozialen Brennpunkt),
– auf den Philippinen (an einer Schule in ländlicher Umgebung),
– und in Kamerun (in einer Familie, im Rahmen eines immersiven Aufenthalts).

Diese Erfahrungen haben uns tief geprägt. Sie haben unsere Begeisterung für Begegnung, Austausch, Zusammenarbeit und interkulturelles Lernen gestärkt. Wir bieten gerne Aktivitäten rund um Malerei, kreative Gestaltung, Sport und freies Spielen an – stets mit Herz, Achtsamkeit und Kreativität.

Werte wie Antirassismus, Solidarität, Feminismus und Offenheit für Unterschiede sind uns sehr wichtig.

Warum Workaway?
Heute möchten wir diesen Weg fortsetzen und mit anderen Familien Momente des Austauschs erleben – in einem Geist der gegenseitigen Hilfe, der Einfachheit und der Authentizität.
Wir bringen uns gerne ein – ob bei der Kinderbetreuung, beim Gestalten einer Wandmalerei, beim gemeinsamen Kochen, im Garten, beim Basteln oder einfach beim Entdecken anderer Lebensweisen. Dabei möchten wir unseren Kindern die Liebe zur Vielfalt und zum menschlichen Miteinander weitergeben.

Qui sommes-nous?

Nous sommes une famille de quatre personnes, curieuse, engagée et ouverte sur le monde. Moi, Nilaï, je suis franco-allemande, j’ai 31 ans, je suis médiatrice familiale et juriste. Je parle couramment le français, l’allemand et l’anglais. Je suis passionnée par la rencontre, la différence, la communication et par l'enfance. Je suis quelqu'un d'enthousiaste et de créative. Mon compagnon, David, a également 31 ans. Il est franco-camerounais. Il est conducteur de travaux , passionné par les enfants, le sport, le travail manuel, le jardinage, les animaux et tout ce qui touche à la nature. Il parle le français et l’anglais.

Nous avons deux filles, âgées de six ans et bientôt deux ans, avec qui nous aimons passer du temps au grand air, jouer, créer, explorer. En tant que parents, nous avons à cœur de leur transmettre des valeurs d’ouverture, de curiosité et de respect.

Nous vivons en Bretagne, là où nous avons tout les deux grandit, une région que nous aimons profondément pour sa nature préservée, sa proximité avec la mer et sa forte identité culturelle.

Notre expérience et nos valeurs

Avant d’avoir des enfants, nous avons passé un an à faire du volontariat ensemble :
– en Afrique du Sud (dans des 3 orphelinats),
– en France (dans une école en quartier prioritaire),
– aux Philippines (dans une écoles en zone rurale),
– et au Cameroun (dans une famille, en immersion).

Ces expériences nous ont profondément marqués. Elles ont renforcé notre goût pour la rencontre, l’échange, la coopération et l’interculturalité. Nous aimons proposer des activités autour de la peinture, l’art plastique, du sport, du jeu libre, toujours dans un esprit de bienveillance et de créativité.

Les valeurs d’antiracisme, de solidarité, de féminisme et d’ouverture à la différence sont très importantes pour nous.

Pourquoi Workaway ?

Aujourd’hui, nous souhaitons poursuivre cette dynamique en vivant des temps de partage avec d’autres familles, dans un esprit d’entraide, de simplicité et d’authenticité. Nous aimons contribuer là où nous sommes : s'ocupper des enfants, créer une fresque mural, cuisiner ensemble, aider au jardin, faire du bricolage, découvrir une autre façon de vivre et transmettre à nos enfant l’amour de la diversité et de l’échange.

Who are we?
We are a family of four—curious, committed, and open to the world.
I’m Nilaï, French-German, 31 years old, a family mediator and legal professional. I speak French, German, and English fluently. I am passionate about meeting people, diversity, communication, and childhood. I’m an enthusiastic and creative person.
My partner David is also 31 years old and French-Cameroonian. He is a construction site manager, passionate about children, sports, manual work, gardening, animals, and everything connected to nature. He speaks French and English.

We have two daughters, aged six and almost two, with whom we love to spend time outdoors—playing, creating, and exploring. As parents, we are deeply committed to passing on values of openness, curiosity, and respect.

We live in Brittany, where we both grew up—a region we deeply love for its preserved nature, proximity to the sea, and strong cultural identity.

Our experience and values
Before having children, we spent a year volunteering together: – in South Africa (in 3 orphanages),
– in France (in a school in a priority neighborhood),
– in the Philippines (in a rural school),
– and in Cameroon (with a host family, in full immersion).

Today, we want to continue on this path by sharing meaningful moments with other families in a spirit of mutual support, simplicity, and authenticity. We love contributing wherever we are: caring for children, painting a mural, cooking together, helping in the garden, doing DIY projects, discovering different lifestyles, and passing on to our children the love of diversity and human connection.

Ich, Nilaï, bin Familienmediatorin und Juristin. Ich spreche fließend Französisch, Deutsch und Englisch. Ich habe Erfahrung in der Leitung von Gesprächsgruppen, der Durchführung von künstlerischen Workshops für Kinder sowie in Übersetzung und Dolmetschen. Ich habe grossen Interesse an Kommunikation, Familien, Kindheit und auch an Photographie. Ich bin eine begeisterte und kreative Person.

Mein Partner, David, ist französisch-kamerunischer Herkunft. Er arbeitet als Bauleiter und ist handwerklich begabt sowie erfahren in der Durchführung von Kinderworkshops. Er begeistert sich für Sport, handwerkliche Tätigkeiten, Gartenarbeit, Kinder, Tiere und alles, was mit der Natur zu tun hat. Er spricht Französisch und Englisch.

J'ai des compétences dans l'animation de groupe de parole, l'animation d'atelier artistique pour les enfants, dans la traduction et l'interprétariat. Je suis passionnée par la rencontre, la différence, la communication et par l'enfance. J'aime aussi beaucoup la photographie. Je suis quelqu'un d'enthousiaste et de créative.

Mon compagnon, David, est franco-camerounais. Il est conducteur de travaux dans le bâtiment, il a des compétences dans la bricolage et l'animation d'ateliers pour les enfants.
