Ma prochaine destination :
Trondheim, Norway - du Avr 2025 au Mai 2025 Voir toutDescription
I'm 27, originally from the Netherlands and moved to Oslo a year ago. I've lived on Svalbard to research Arctic Climate Change, and lived on a small yet beautiful island called Aspö on the south coast of Sweden while studying a MSc in Strategic Leadership towards Sustainability. I also spent half a year in Mexico, working on an eco-campsite and visiting regenerative projects 🏕️
Currently, I'm on a beautiful adventure throughout Norway, exploring what it means to live and work in regenerative and life-affirming ways. I'm now staying on an island farm in Vestland, taking care of sheep, goats, chickens, ducks, rabbits, and the forest. I'm a hard worker, quick learner, and I have experience with forestry work, digging ditches, painting and gardening.
I'm adventurous, positive, calm, curious, compassionate and a good listener. I love exploring nature, wild adventures, ice-bathing, trail running, skiing, climbing, philosophy, yoga and being in intentional communities. Currently, I find a lot of peace in Zen Buddhist practices and I'm exploring other spiritual and embodied practices 🧘
I work on various 'regenerative projects' that put life at the centre of every action. I write a blog called 'The Mycelium' (https://tijntjoelker.substack.com/) to illuminate and weave together the more beautiful world our hearts know is possible. I also work remotely 2 days a week for the Bioregional Weaving Labs Collective, an organization helping communities of changemakers protect, restore and regenerate their bioregions in holistic ways 🌱🌊
So far I've loved all my WWOOF / Workaway experiences in Norway, it feels great to integrate working with my head, heart and hands 💚Centres d’intérêt
