Description
Hey, it’s Edit here! A 21-year-old pro thrifter and wannabe tattoo artist/interior designer in the future. Before I hopefully enter the student life again, I wish to continue my Workaway journey this winter to help out in projects that resonate with me, as well as escaping gloomy Helsinki.

My number one priorities are the wellbeing of our planet and animals. Therefore sustainability, veganism and animal rights hold a special place in my heart. In my day-to-day life, I’m very passionate about reusing and recycling, whether it’s clothes, homeware or even art we’re talking about.

I love meeting positive, open minded people and I strive to spread those similar, good vibes to others as well. I believe putting yourself out there in a new environment is the best learning experience of all. New faces, stories and cultures - each amaze me every time.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I am very handy and interested in various DIY projects. I put lots of effort in detail and never leave the work half finished. I also love to plan events/schedules and customising them suitable for everyone involved. During my three previous Workaway experiences, I've been mainly in charge of planting trees, cooking plant-based meals, painting walls/roofs, chopping/shredding branches and cleaning spaces. I've worked in hospitality for almost six years now which I'm a pro at and recently worked as a volunteer at a creative arts/workshops and music festival.

Edit and Eric were super-duper helpful around the house, and felt very comfortable to be around very quickly - requiring very little management or handholding. I stayed a month with Jo & Jake and had a lovely time in Orgiva. At the house you're often able to choose what kind of tasks suits your strengths and interests the best, I was mainly doing general maintenance of living spaces and cooking with other Workawayers, as well as shredding olive tree branches.
