Hi!
I love working in the outdoors and working hard to live life in a sustainable and eco-conscious way. I really enjoy observing and learning about wildlife, plants, landscapes and ecosystems, as well as getting stuck in with outdoors projects, and love seeing the results of my hard work! I am looking forward to travelling via Workaway and getting involved in some fun projects, and meeting people from all walks of life and swapping stories. I believe an extended stay with local people is the best way to experience any place!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?
I have a lot of previous gardening/landscaping experience. As a teenager and student I worked in my local neighbourhood on various gardening projects, from regular garden maintenance (pruning, mowing etc) to bigger landscaping projects (patio-laying, building of raised beds). I really enjoy working outdoors and working with plants. I also have experience volunteering for a number of public projects in this regard - from path-laying and planting for a new local park, to wood-chopping and brush clearance for a local nature reserve.
I am a decently skillled cook, and thorouhgly enjoy preparing group meals!
I have previous experience in pet care, having done a number of pet-sits whilst travelling.

I am a musician - I play piano, guitar and bass. I also produce original music, something I am really proud of.
I also love listening to music and learning about new music/music history from around the world.
I have a degree in biology and love the natural world - I relish being out in nature and learning about different species and the ecosystems they inhabit.

I had a great stay at Diana's place. Diana was a great host who made sure I had everything I needed and cooked some really delicious meals! It was great to get to know her and learn so much from her through helping in her beautiful garden. She even taught me a few phrases of Chinese.

Marlene & Peter are amazing hosts! I had a great stay with them and really enjoyed getting to know them and sharing good food and music. Working with the chickens was always fun and helping out around their beautiful farm was a joy. They always made sure I had everything I needed and I felt right at home.

Tom was a great help and very easygoing. He did an excellent job shingling our outhouse and doing general property maintenance, including clearing brush, digging a trench and mulching our garden beds.
