I'm highly interested in learning useful life skills like carpentry, cooking, arts, crafts, gardening and more. I want holistic skills to live off the grid at some point in my life!

Description

Hola! I'm Tomas from Chile, I'm highly interested and motivated about conservation, permaculture, off the grid life, and outdoor activities! It brings me happiness seeing a plant grow, a good meal, being in the mountains and connecting with amazing people!
I've experience working for two years in Data Management, but then 5 years working in remote areas like Patagonia as a tour guide (mostly hiking and horse back riding), lodge managing in the Chilean Volcano Area.
Also I have experience working in Australia for 2 years as a track builder in different Australian National Parks located in places like Tasmania and the Blue Mountains; so English is not a problem for me, I'm quite fluent, and also I know what is hard work and to use tools.
I'm very motivated and I can easily get along with people in new places. I love to help and be part of the environment where I'm in.
My hobbies are mostly related to being outdoors, but I also like photography, reading and I'm learning how to do some crafts with ropes ATM.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I've been the last two years building hiking & mtb tracks in Australia (Tasmania, Blue Mountains and Northern Rivers); I've lived in Patagonia and southern Chile for several years working mainly in adventure tourism; I have a degree in business and administration.
My skills are very related to those experiences: I like to cut wood, to light fires, to dig holes, to use tools; but I also like to do administrative tasks (I'm good with microsoft excell!). I'm good to work with other people and is easy for me to adapt to new places.

I really like outdoor life, mainly hiking and camping, spend time in nature. Also I love slacklining!
My other big hobbie is photography.
I'm trying to get better at reading, drawing. and crafts.
I always can try new sports!
