I have realised in my time travelling abroad that I am not a city person, by any means. Sure, I don't mind spending a couple of nights in a new city to explore and see what it has to offer, but I know deep down that I cannot stay in cities for a long period of time. Maybe that's because I grew up in a small country town, where everyone knows everyone.

I have also realised that I am more of an explorer when I am travelling, rather than a tourist. I will always choose the unknown route, where my curiosity can take over, rather than follow the mainstream. It's most often when I find myself in a new location, outdoors and exploring nature that I am at my most happiest!

I will always an forever be a water baby! I love the ocean, lakes or pools. Being immersed in water always makes me feel so free!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

While I am not exploring, I am a keen gardener. Again, another excuse to be outside hey. Back home I was professionally trained in Mixology Bartending and very much still enjoy it. Something about making someone's night brings me so much joy. With that being said, I am keen to try something new. I feel like Workaway is not only a good opportunity to experience a new culture, but to meet people and understand the world more. New people with new skills and abilities excite me and I can't wait to volunteer!

I am always up for a good board or card game. Nothing like having a chill night in, with a bottle of wine and playing some low-key games.

Back home I used to play Netball (before I severely injured my knee) and am still working at being at the level where I can play again. It's been a very long time since I last played and I miss it very much
