Hi there! I’m Taylor, a 28-year-old from California, currently living and traveling in Queensland, Australia. I'd love to meet other workawayers, grab a coffee and share stories! I enjoy hiking and being outdoors, trying new food, visiting markets, going to museums, and just exploring. Let's meet up! (:

I graduated with my Bachelor's in Psychology in 2016. Afterwards, I worked as a disability support worker for 2 years and a youth worker for 6 months, before moving to Korea to teach English. I've been in Australia for 3 years, and am working as a Therapeutic Program Manager for youth in OOHC. I'm an open-minded, laid back person who loves to travel, meet new people, and experience new things. So far I've visited Mexico, Thailand, the Philippines, Taiwan, South Korea, Japan, Fiji, Indonesia, and New Zealand.

I'm willing to help out in whatever you need! I'm a fast learner, adapt well to new situations, and tend to go with the flow of things. I'd love to share stories and get to know you!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

I am currently an English teacher, so I can provide English language assistance if needed. I also have some tutoring experience from elementary to university levels.

Before coming to South Korea, I worked at a day program for adults with developmental disabilities, and at a group home for foster youth. Both jobs required me to provide care for multiple clients, encourage positive decision making, cook healthy meals, and maintain a clean environment.

I've also worked various customer service jobs such as in retail and sales, serving and hosting in restaurants, and front office reception.

Lastly, I'm a huge animal lover. I grew up surrounded by pets- I've had 3 dogs (golden retriever, yellow lab, and a pug/beagle mix), a cat, hamster, guinea pig, hermit crabs, and fish! I've petsit for friends and family while they were away on vacation in the past, and would happily provide animal care.

I like staying active when possible and love being outdoors. When I travel to new places, I'd rather spend more time exploring its mountains, beaches, and oceans than its cities. I'm always down for a dive, a hike, a day at the beach, or any other adventure. I'm a huge foodie- I love trying new food, and (attempting) to cook new recipes.
