Hello community :)

My name is Szimo, I’m a 32 year old girl from Hungary currently exploring Asia.

Over the past 8 years, I have been living and working abroad, in France and Australia, including a one year internship in Italy. After having travelled for short periods of time more intensely, I am now enjoying a slower way of exploration - taking time to connect with local people, learn about the culture and truly experience each place.

Recently I have been working in kitchens, where I find there's a good balance of autonomy and team work, conquering new challenges and supporting daily routines. I am curious and enjoy acquiring new skills by hands-on learning from people who are knowledgeable and passionate about their work.
I would especially love to join a project in nature or a peaceful place.

In my free time I enjoy reading, hiking, visiting museums, going to concerts, doing sports or just spending quality time with friends.

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

My love for nature resulted in studying biology at university, obtaining a basic knowledge of the flora and fauna, ecology and related sciences. After some years of research in the molecular field had the urge to deepen my knowledge on my hobbies - cooking and baking.

Growing up being engaged in chores around the house and taking care of pets were a must. Helping my mum with the laundry, doing basic sewing or mowing the lawn, planting, weeding around the garden, repainting the fences with our dad were part of the weekends and summers.

During my stay in Australian I also volunteered in a hostel, helping with guest check-ins and occasional shopping for missing things and general cleaning.

As much as I'd like to use my existing knowledge, I cannot wait to learn new skills. I'd also love to get more involved in general maintenance, agriculture related tasks, working with animals and fresh produce would be a dream.
