Hello!

My name is Nick. I am from South Africa, but I have spent the last 3 years living in Asia (SK & Vietnam) teaching English. I would describe myself as a generally easy going person, but still adventurous. I always love to try a new experience and this would be my first time trying workaway!

After leaving my job I would like to take some time to travel more and gain a deeper appreciation for the world we live in. I am trying to be more mindful of everyday life and the beauty that surrounds us.

I would love to try my hand at new work and skills that I haven't been exposed to. I love anything outdoors or focused on nature. I am an avid hiker. I also enjoy meeting new people and helping people feel relaxed in their environment.

I hope that we can have a chance to meet soon!

Quelles sont vos compétences ?

For those who wish to learn English, I have 3 years experience teaching experience from children all the way to adults. I can help you or your school with conversational lessons and other things in the field.

In terms of farm work, I consider myself physically fit and could help with any manual labour. I have worked only small construction projects in the past (building jungle gyms and football fields) but I can learn fast! I also have a driving license and international permit, If things need moving.

I have been trying my hand at travel photography and basic videography, so perhaps if you need someone to take portraits for your business or just general product pictures you can give me a shout!

I would also like to explore working in hospitality, as that would give me a chance to try and learn new skills. I feel like I can do most things if someone takes the time to show me haha. I will always try my best.
