Hi, I'm Stefano from Italy!
Who I am:
A little while ago, I decided to step away from my career as a software developer and spend some time exploring the world in a more intentional way. Instead of following the usual routine, I wanted to experience different cultures, meet inspiring people, learn practical skills, and see where life takes me.
For me, travel isn't about ticking countries off a list. It's about the people you meet, the conversations you have, the skills you learn, and the memories you create together. I believe the best experiences often come from saying yes to the unexpected.
I'm easygoing, open-minded, and naturally curious. I enjoy an active lifestyle and love spending time outdoors: whether it's hiking in the mountains, surfing, working out, or simply watching the sunset after a good day's work. I also appreciate slower moments: sharing a meal, laughing over stories, having meaningful conversations, or just relaxing a bit.
Why I'm on workaway:
Workaway feels like the perfect way to travel because it's based on something I value a lot: genuine cultural exchange. I enjoy contributing to a project, becoming part of everyday life, and learning from people with different backgrounds and perspectives.
I'm very hands-on and happy to help wherever needed. I've always enjoyed practical work and don't mind getting my hands dirty. Whether it's gardening, painting, DIY projects, house maintenance, building, or general help around the property, I'm motivated, reliable, and eager to learn new skills. I adapt quickly and enjoy challenging myself with new experiences.
Right now, my focus is simple: stay healthy, keep learning, explore new places with intention, and connect with people who inspire me. I believe every place and every person has something to teach us, and that's what makes this journey so exciting.
If you're looking for someone who is positive, respectful, hardworking, adaptable, and easy to live with, I'd be happy to be part of your home and help however I can. I'm flexible with working hours and always happy to contribute with a smile.

I hold a FIN pool lifeguard certificate and I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I have experience in gardening and hostel duties. Many of my past work experiences involved interaction and communication with people and clients.
